Chapter 29 - Punishment

[Evan Writing]

I looked up when I heard footsteps- thinking it was Eddie I just laid there on the ground.

The lights weren't turned on however but the footsteps grew louder towards me, I was then lifted into the air, I looked up to see Eddies face, I held Midnight closer as Eddie turned and walked to the elevator.

I rested my head on his chest, closing my eyes, it was silent until Midnight let out a small mew, I pet him on the head making him purr.

Once we reach the top floor Eddie walked all the way to the bedroom, opening the door I didn't see (d/n) until he laid me down, (d/n) was under the covers drawing.

Midnight mewed getting (d/n) attention, she gasped when she saw Midnight and crawled over to us and petted him, Midnight crawled off of me as (d/n) and Midnight began playing.

I didn't say a word as Eddie didn't move from behind me.

"(D/n), darling. Can you leave for a few minutes? I have to talk to Evan." (D/n) looked up and nodded "Midnight can go with you as well." Her face lit up with pure happiness, grabbing Midnight she ran out the room, Eddie walked over to the door-

I sat up and went to run out of the room only for Eddie to grab the back of my shirt pulling me back inside the room.

"Get on the bed." He command, I did as told not wanting Eddie to get mad.

I laid on the bed on my back as Eddie crawled over me sitting on my waist, "Oh, Evan... You're so.. How do I say this? So.. Troubling.."

Eddie leaned down, taking my face into his hands, his fingers ran across the bruise on my right cheek.

"But.. I won't kill you.. You know that, right?" I nodded, "But.. I'm not afraid to hurt you.. Anymore- that is."

I closed my eyes when Eddie brought his left hand back making a fist, "I know, this will hurt.. But trust me- it's only so you'll learn your lesson."

I gulped as Eddie punched me in the face, I flinch as I wanted to cry- but I didn't...

Eddie continued to punch me with his right and left hand- this continued for about 5 minutes..

Blood dripped from my mouth and nose as I opened one eye and looked at Eddie, giving him a pleading look- a look that told him to stop- that told him 'I learned my lesson! I promise I won't do it again!'

Eddie stopped, he looked at me, panting.

"Learned... Your lesson?" He asked, I nodded hesitantly, "I.. I-I'm s-s-so-s-sorry!" I cried as Eddie then felt bad for doing this to me, I knew he did by the look on his face..

It showed fear, sadness, and... I can't make out the other emotion..

Eddie pulled me into a hug, holding me tightly he whispered "I won't let anything bad happen to you.. I swear I won't hurt you anymore- I love you, prince!" I was surprised by this action that came from him..

I returned the hug, Eddie kissed my cheek as he then let go of me and got up, he tucked me in, placing me under the covers, he then ruffle my hair and left, I closed my eyes, I then heard soft purring, I looked up to see Midnight, he crawled next to me and crawled under my arm, nuzzling close to me, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
