Chapter 26 - My daughter

I walked through the asylum, I wanted to find (y/n) daughter..

I looked everywhere, I was now in the lower floor- the morphogenic engine was destroyed a long time ago so it's pretty much safe for any female to come here.

I looked around as I even asked if anyone was here.

"Hello?" I called out one last time, I was about to give up until a child voice answered "H-Hello?"

I turned to a closed door, pushing it open as something blocked it- a shelf fell over on the door, I looked inside to see nothing.

"Any body here? I'm not going to hurt you. Just want to talk.."

I then saw something huddled in the corner, pushing the door opened fully, I walked into the room and walked over to the.. Person..?

It was hard to tell, until I realized it was a blanket.

"I-Is the bad men gone?" The person turned around and looked at me, my eyes widen- this was a child. Not only a child but a 6 year old!

I crouched down and smiled "Yes.. The bad men are gone."

The child stood as I realized the kid was female.

"What's your name kid?" "(D/n) (l/n). Y-Yours?" "Eddie Gluskin."

I held my hand out and the child took it, "D-Do you know my mommy? Her names (y/n).." I froze, 'so this is (y/n) daughter!' I smiled down at (d/n) and nodded "Yes, I know her. We.. Were married..!" I smiled down at (d/n) as he eyes lightened up, "Y-Your my daddy?" I nodded, she smiled and hugged me, this was a surprise but then I realize she must of been down here for so long..

She had (d/h/c) and (d/e/c)- her left eye was grey as he seemed to lost sight in that eye.

I hugged her back, but pulled away when I heard Miles.

"Come on (d/n), let's go home."

"B-But Miles will hurt us!" I gave her a confused look 'She met Miles?'

I then heard a chuckle.

"Better listen to the kid, Gluskin."

I turned to see Miles floating in mid-air as he smirked at me, "Miles, I know you won't hurt a kid! I'm just bringing her back with me!" I pulled (d/n) behind me as she held onto my pant leg.

"Oh, I know. But I just want to be a jackass and kill you- don't worry I won't hurt the kid!" I glared at him as I picked up (d/n), "Hold on (d/n).." She held on tightly to my vest as I quickly ran past Miles- punching him in the face, that surprise him, knocking him into a wall, I ran down the hall to the elevator as Miles screamed in anger, he flew after me as I ran as fast as I can.

Once making it to the elevator I was panting as Miles screamed "COME BACK HERE AGAIN AND ILL KILL YOU AND THAT BRAT- EVAN!!!"

I sighed as (d/n) was shaking "Hey.. It's okay. He's gone now.." (D/n) stopped shaking and looked up at me, "A-Are you okay?" I nodded "Yeah, I'm fine."

Once we made it to the ground floor I walked out of the elevator and walked all the way back to my room.

[2 hours later]

Once making it to my room [making sure (d/n) didn't see the dead bodies] I called for Evan.

"Evan!"

He came out wearing a white t-shirt.

"What?" He saw (d/n) and his eyes widen, "Is that.." I nodded "Yeah, this is (d/n), you new little sister." Evan smiled walking up to us, "Hey there lil' sis! My names Evan!" She smiled as she said shyly "(d-d/n)..."

I looked down at her torn tattered clothes.

"Evan mind taking her for a little bit? I need to make her some new clothes."

"Okay." I handed Evan (d/n), he checked her tag on the back of her torn shirt, "She's a small- have fun making her clothes!" Evan walked to our room as I sat down by a sowing machine, grabbing some cloth, I began making her clothes using (d/f/c) cloth for a shirt and some black pants.

I began sowing and cutting some pieces of the cloth as I heard both Evan and (d/n) giggling.

I smiled, 'only if you were here (y/n), I'll have a complete family..'
