Aphmau's POV

I woke up with a brief panic attack. As I took in my surroundings I quickly realized I was in Zoey's room. I breathed a sigh of relief, because I wasn't with Zane anymore. I shuddered thinking about it. A concerned voice broke through my thoughts. "Lady Aphmau!" I looked around the room and realized Laurence had spoke. I looked up at him and Garroth, who were standing at my bedside. "Laurence... Garroth..." Garroth interrupted me. "Are you okay?!" "Other than scarred for life? Yeah, I'm pretty good," I half joked. Laurence muttered something I failed to hear. "What?" He shook his head and said "It's nothing..."

Laurence's POV

Other than scarred for life? Yeah, I'm pretty good. Her words rang in my ear. "If only I could have gotten there sooner..." I muttered quietly but angrily. She looked at me. "What?" I shook my head. "It's nothing..." Now she looked worried. I whispered to Garroth, "Can you stand outside for a moment?" He nodded and walked out. I inched closer to Aphmau. I pulled her into a tight embrace. Then I let go embarresed. I rubbed the back of my neck. "L-Laurence...?" She whispered softly. "Umm... I... Uh.. Sorry...." I said as I ran outside.

Garroth POV

When Laurence came out he looked embarresed and avoided my gaze. I shrugged and walked back inside Aphmau's house where she looked as red as a tomato. "Spill it." I demanded calmly. "Laurencehuggedmehegotembarresedandduckedoutthenyoucameitisnotmyfault!" She said in one big breath. I sighed. She repeated more slowly. "Laurence hugged me and he got embarresed and he ran out then you came! It is not my fault!" I was a bit disappointed but I was used to it now. "Was it his fault?" I asked slowly. I knew it was a stupid question, but I couldn't keep myself from asking. "No. It wasn't!" She said, looking away. I sighed. "
