Gabrielle

"Gabrielle Marie Reed! Why is this guy in your bed?!" I shot straight up from my sleep hearing my mother yell my name. I blinked my slumber away, clearing a bit of the haziness from my eyes.

"What are you talking about ma? Where?" I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes to see clearer.

She made a pointed look at a boy.... Haddon? Oh, I'm in deep shit. I completely forgot about him coming over last night. She'll be fine once she figures out who he is, if she even remembers him. At least we are with our mate , my wolf chimed.

"Uh, yeah about that... Mommy, this is Haddon, Haddon Lucinia. Remember, from before we moved to Tennessee?"

Her face relaxed a significant amount,. "Haddon from our old house?"

I nodded, making a feasible 'mhm'

She released her grip on his collar. "Haddon, you've grown up so much! I didn't even recognize you, you look so grown!" She gave him a tight hug. "I'll make you some breakfast. As for you little girl, we will talk." She gave him a quick smile, shutting the door behind her.

"I hate you already, Haddon." I huffed, burying my head deep into the pillow. I felt his heated body snuggle up behind me.

"I'm sorry..." He cooed against my neck.

"Get off of me." I heard him growl, his wolf probably didn't like taking orders, but he got up anyways. He knew I meant business.

"So... Seeing as this went great, may I take you out?" He asked curiously.

I sat up looking at his face to see if he was joking, but he seemed serious. He looked like he was anxious about it, too. "Sure. Let's go after we eat breakfast."

I went into my bathroom and put on a random dress, and went downstairs with Haddon. I stopped in my tracks several stairs before I reached the floor, where I wasn't visible.

"I think you and Gabrielle should just go ahead and get together. Your mother and I have been planning  it all out since you both were pups."

I heard him chuckle loudly. "Well, I'm all in. Now the task at hand is to get your daughter to like me." She returned his laughter, slapping her hand on the counter and all.

I walked into the kitchen, grabbing a piece of bacon. "I spy a beautiful, nice, and intelligent woman in the kitchen. Oh,and you Haddon." I rolled my eyes, mumbling the last part so only Haddon could hear me.

"I'm still going to talk to you later, missy. You aren't talking your way out of that." She murmured walking up the stairs.

Well, that was a complete mission failed. At least I tried. The last twenty-four hours has sucked so much. I sighed, plopping down on a stool beside Haddon. "My hatred has not ceased, in case you were wondering."

"I was talking to your mom."

"Mhmm, I heard. Let's go." I grabbed his hand as we went to his car. As long as I avoided this 'boy talk' with my mother, I was fine, even if had to go with Haddon. We got settled in the car and his music immediately started blasting at full force. Fall Out Boy's, Sugar We're Going Down was seeping through the speakers.

"I love this song!" I yelled over the music, bobbing my head to the beat. "Where are we going?"

He shook his head, gracing me with a toothy grin. I rode in the car, singing along with Patrick Stump. We pulled up to a GIGANTIC house.. Man, this wasn't even a house! An estate, mansion, something along those lines. It was absolutely beautiful from the outside. Built with expensive white brick, accompanied by enormous white pillars surrounding the entrance. Even the shutters were pure white to match the ivory theme around the estate. There was a wrap-around cobble stone driveway, which Haddon pulled up and parked on. This house was marvelous.

"Whose house is this Haddon?"

"It's the pack house babe.''

I nodded, more to myself and followed him into the house. It was even more fetching on inside. I immediately noticed the many people that filled the room up. A large bunch of guys said what's up to Haddon, while I stood to the side awkwardly, smiling at their interactions. Haddon introduced me to all of his friends, each one giving me a hug as if they knew me personally. More and more people filed into the vast room, causing the chatter getting louder and louder. I felt something tug at the end of my dress and I thought that it was caught on  something. I looked down and it was an adorable, dark chocolate baby pulling at the hem of my dress. I picked him up, cooing at his incessant giggles. I noticed that he had brilliant tawny eyes that complimented his sable skin. I played with him for a few more minutes, until I looked up at Haddon moving erratically away from some girl that had approached him.

"Hey Babe! I missed you!" It was some blonde chick with an outfit on that left nothing for the imagination. I started to turn back to the baby, thinking that she was one of his close friends, but she leaned forward and locked lips with my mate.

Oh, he's got something coming if he thinks I will deal with shit like that.
