This chapter contains mild (at least to me) vulgarities. This is because I feel that after being shot, kidnapped and living in solitary, the last thing on Samuru's mind would be politeness.
Samuru's POV
I wake up to an annoying beeping sound. I try to open my eyes, but all it did was let in an unwelcomed rush of light and give me a pounding headache. Sorry, enhance my already present headache. Bloody hell, that hurt.
How did I end up in this position? Oh yeah... I fought that creepy guy and shit happened. Wait... Did Riki come to get me? I thought i killed him. Am I really out of that god damned place? Or was that just a hallucination? I've had many unpleasant visions before, all mostly after I got shot, and some before.
Pain shoots through my head. I ignore the headache and focused on getting my arms under my body. Only to find that they would not move. I had a flashback to when I woke up in my cell. Oh crap. This seems eerily similar. I hear a different beeping sound and feel a cool liquid seep into me veins. My vision starts to go black around the edges.
Oh what the hell.
Gennosuke Shigane's POV
I look though the glass separating me from my son. I have never been able to go into the room. I somehow feel that I have let him down by letting him be kidnapped. I take a deep breath and entered the room. Moving to the seat beside the bed that many others, mostly Riki, have occupied. I reached down to caress his face gently with a bit of hesitation. The machine beside him started beeping, indicating that he was about to regain consciousness.
I drew back my hand sharply. Immediately, I left the room. On the way out, I pressed the button that would give him more sedatives. Running back to my room, tears start running down my face.
I'm sorry Samuru.
Reggie's POV
I walk into the hospital room that housed Samuru. For some reason, I felt the need to come to this room when I needed to rant or confess something. It's creepy and wierd but I just do it.
"So um... You know you could wake up soon, I mean everyone's been really worried. You've been put for three days, and you're not showing any signs of waking up soon. Yuki paces around, Novu keeps coming up with theories of what could have happened to you, Grizz keeps disappearing and I...just don't do much. Riki practically moved into this room when you got back until his mom called and we dragged him away." Reggie's voice breaks. "You would do everyone a huge favour if you could wake up now."
Reggie waited for awhile watching the face of his Bdaman partner. Samuru's face remained stony and pale. Reggie sighs and turns to leave, muttering.
"You still haven't change have you? Bloody arsehole."
