Takakura's POV
Genosukke is really worried about his son. Frankly, I didn't think he cared about Samuru that much. He always push Samuru too hard. Not to mention separate him from... Never mind. Riki Ryugasaki's been acting strangely as well. He seems down and more quiet. I think he blames himself for what happened.
Frankly I think this would've happened one way or another. The gunman was aiming at Riki, and Samuru wasn't the type of person to ignore a friend in danger even though he has had little human contact up till recently.
Riki's POV
I'm sorry Samuru. I should've helped you. Broke free from Yuki maybe. Dragged you out of the stadium before that madman can get to you.
I walked towards the West city Crossfire arena. "Hey Riki, long time no see." I turned and saw Kamon Godai. "Where's Samuru? I thought he lived here." He asked me. I looked at the floor. Dracyan sensed that I didn't want to talk about it and filled Kamon in on the situation. "I see...well there's nothing much you can do now Riki. Its not your fault that..." I couldn't stand it anymore. Barely holding back tears, I ran back to my house.
I should apologise to Mr. Shigane. For letting his son get shot and kidnapped.
Genosukke Shigane's POV
I sit on the roof of the museum, Samuru's favourite spot to think in. I looked at a picture of him in my hand. It was one of the few pictures I had taken with him and the only one with him genuinely smiling. It was taken after Dragold was defeated. I always told him that his sole purpose was defeating Dragold. But after he did... Well he still continued playing b daman obviously, but our bond seemed to get closer.
I also have Riki to thank for opening Samuru up. Out of the blue, the door to the roof opened and an azure haired boy walked through. "Hello Riki." I greeted him with a sad smile. "Mr. Shigane, I should apologise..." He told me. "For what?" I looked at the boy. "For not getting your son out before..." I stared at the boy. Why would he apologise?
"There's no need for that. Samuru pushed you aside to save you and I don't think he would want you to waste that effort by going in to help him and risking your life." I assured the boy.
"You really think so?" He looks up at me. I nod and pat him on the back.
