I was walking out to my car, getting ready to go home when I heard Aislyn behind me calling my name. I stopped, looked back, and waited for her to catch up to me.
"Hey Aislyn, what you need?"
Do you want to come over to my house this weekend?"
I raised my eyebrow, giving her a look of confusion,"Um, okay. Sure I guess I can come over. I just need to ask my Aunt."
She did a mini happy dance,"Yay! Oh my goodness! This is going to be great. We are going to have so much fun!"
She came right in front of me and gave me a hug. This is the most awkward thing anyone has done.
She let's go with a smile still plastered on her face. I on the other hand, was still in shock of what just happened. She must have noticed because she gave me back the look of confusion.
"Why do you look so confused? Haven't you ever slept at someone else's house before?"
"Nope."
"Well then, I guess we have to change that. You and I are going to have so much fun this weekend."
"Um, I hope this isn't too embarrassing to ask you but what in the world am I supossed to bring?"
She chuckled a little bit,"Well clothes and your phone if you want. I will have everything at my house that we would need so your all taken care of."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Wow, um okay. I will double check and see if it is okay with my aunt."
"Great."
We laughed we walked through the school hallways without a care gping through our minds.
We went to our lockers, grabbed our books and prepared for what just might be one of my favorite days of school.
