My alarm went off at 6am, so I got up and put my exercise pants on and a crop and went downstairs to find Andy. He normally sleeps in my bedroom but lately he had been getting up and barking so we were making him sleep outside lately. I let him in and gave him a little bit of food and then filled up two water bottles, one for me and one for Andy. I decided I wanted to go to the park again from yesterday but I decided to drive there and then walk him. It took 5 minutes to drive there and by then the sun just started setting. We walked around for a bit and I decided to let him have a swim in the dog swimming lake so I sat down and started eating my banana that I had brought with me. I was going to start my run after Andy had his swim because that was kind of his warm up. I decided I should to so I started doing some basic stretches and whatnot when I heard Andy barking aggressively.
"Andy!" I screamed. He came running towards me with a tennis ball in his mouth. I pulled it out and looked around because I presumed it wasn't just a lost one. That's when I saw him. Elliot.
"Hey there stranger! Fancy seeing you here again!"
I smiled and waved "Hey!"
He walked over with his two dogs and sat down next to me. "Sit down and lets chat!" He seemed so eager, the way his beautiful dark brown eyes lit up and how his face just lit up when he smiled. He was truly good looking.
I sat down and we sat for a bit just watching our dogs play and chase each other. It was cute. I had always wanted to get another dog so that Andy wasn't alone but mom wasn't keen on it. Dad said it was definitely possible but just after everything that has happened it totally went out of my mind. "So what's your story Hads?" He had already given me a nickname? I liked him.
"I'm 19, grew up here. Live like a 5-minute drive from here. I live a normal life I guess." I didn't really feel like pouring my heart out to some hot random in a park. That and I didn't trust anyone other than myself.
"Well because I sense a bit of restriction in your life story I'll tell you about myself instead! I'm Elliot, as you would remember hopefully. I'm 21 and I grew up here in New York but moved here with my mother when I was 7. I'm currently enrolled at MSU, which I presume you've heard of it. I'm studying Politics and Law. I play football and soccer and I live on my own. I have my two dogs here and I'm planning on getting another!" He was beaming ear to ear.
"Impressive. I was originally going to MSU as well for Law but I recently pulled out." I looked away because I didn't really mean to say it, I just couldn't believe the fact that he was attending the same University that I was originally enrolled in.
"I was going to ask why but I feel like that is a question and answer for another day." He grinned at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Another day? Who said I was going to see you again Elliot?"
"Me. I want to take you on a date. As friends of course, but you seem like you have an interesting story and I am incredibly curious. That and you're very beautiful and I would love to become official friends with you! Plus I am loving Hads as a nickname for you and I feel like nobody you know has been clever enough to come up with it so I must be the official friend to call you that!" He winked at me.
"I am free tonight. Give me your number and I'll text you my address and you can pick me up at 6."
"I like a girl who takes charge." He winked at me again and he took my phone and put in his number and then took a selfie of us without me even having the time to react. "There now you also wont forget what I look like. Well it was nice speaking to you and I will see you tonight." We both stood up and he gave me a small hug. My skin shivered in delight with the touch and then he leaned back and smiled and walked off with his two dogs. I cannot believe I just agreed to that. I guess I did need a friend.
