Misery

People say its just a phase, but we all know that's a lie.
They say it will get better.
They say to be happy and to stop being such a downer.
One can not just be "happy", some people don't even remember
What happy feels like.
How can I be happy, when all I've known how to be is sad?
How can I have courage and faith, when all I do is let people down?
How can I live this life like nothing bothers me?
Exactly, I can't.
I can't keep living this way, walls build around me everyday.
You can try to keep the demons away, but just know, they would love to stay,
And they will come back, they always come back.
