Erin's POV:
*Saturday of next week*

Another week has come and gone. Over this week Harry and I have gotten a lot closer. After practices that football practice didn't follow up we'd hang out and talk or I'd go and sit at the practice field on days he did have practice and i'd wait till football practice was over so we could go grab something to eat. I'll have you know though I think that Jackie is out for blood. It's safe to assume that girl hates me. Harry is oblivious to it sometimes, but I swear if looks could kill i'd be dead ten times over by now.

It just so happens i'm receiving one of these looks at the moment. I'm currently walking down the side walk next to the coffee shop and they have an outside sitting area that Harry and Jackie happen to be sitting at a table in. Harry waved and flashed me a big smile to which I returned and that's what got me the bitch eyes.

I walk into the coffee shop and smile when I see that Tom is working. Over the past week or so since we'd bumped into each other we'd been texting almost nonstop. Granted we hadn't see each other in person much because we'd both been kinda busy lately, but we had become closer non the less.

"Hey Tommo." I grin and he turns around and smiles, "Hey Eri!" "How's work treatin ya?"I ask as I walk toward the counter, "Oh ya know it's workish." "Ahh workish, interesting." I chuckle and so does he, "So do you want your usual?" he asks and goes to make it, "I do. Thanks." I smile and begin to mess around with the small CD rack that was on the counter. "Eri.." I hear Tom call my name and I flinch and almost knock over the CD rack. "Oh my gosh." I chuckle and he's laughing so hard he's nearly in tears. "I called your name like three times." he manages to get out in between laughs, "Sorry I was zoned out." I reply as I pay. I pick up my coffee and as I walk to an empty booth I turn and stick my tongue out at Tom which makes him chuckle and shake his head.

"So," Tom starts as he slides into the booth in front of me, "I don't know if you know this but there's a girl that keeps looking at you like she's ready to kill." "That'd be Jackie." "Ahh it has a name." he replies which causes me to chuckle, "Yeah she's not at the top of me list of people I want to talk to."
"And who is? If you don't mind me asking." he grins and bats his eyelashes, "You of course Tom." I chuckle and he fist bumps the air dramatically, "Knew it." he replies acting cocky then we both start to laugh.

"Oh shit inward walks the thing that goes by Jackie." Tom says in a hushed tone, "Dang it." I mumble and glance up to see Harry and Jackie walking toward our table. "Hey Erin." Harry says and smiles down at me as he and Jackie stand at the end of the table, "Hurry up Harry." Jackie mumbles and nudges Harry's arm. I raise a quizzical brow and Harry begins to speak, "So there's this party tonight at one of the frats on campus and I was wondering if you'd come?" he asks and before I can answer Jackie chimes in, "I told him you'd probably say no, and that this was a waste of our time, but he insisted." Jackie says  and rolls her eyes.

Truth is I probably would've declined being that I don't like parties that much, but considering what Jackie just said i'm going to prove her wrong. "Well maybe you shouldn't just jump to conclusion." I say as I look at Jackie, then I look up at Harry, "Yeah i'll come. Just text me where I need to go." I grin and his smile grows. "I will! I'll see ya later tonight." he grins, "Okay, later!" I reply and he and ms. bitchy pants go on their way.

"So you wanna go to this party with me?" I ask Tom and he lightly frowns, "I would but I have to close tonight."  "Noo stupid work! Who am I going to hang out with? I'm pretty sure Jackie is gonna be up Harry's ass now that i'm going to this thing so I won't be able to hang out with him." I complain and rest my head against the table.

"There's bound to be someone there you'll know." "If not can I just call you and be the loner on their phone at the party?"I ask and he smiles, "Of course you can call me. You'll be the cutest loner at the party." he replies and smirks a little which gives me butterflies for some reason. "Thanks.. I think." I giggle, "It was a compliment. I called you cute." he says confidently, "Well thanks." I blush and look down.
