(Sunday morning)
Erin's POV:
It's eight in the morning and for some reason i'm awake and staring at the ceiling. Why i'm up when this is one of the days I try to sleep in is beyond me, but here I am. I sit up and look over at Emma who is still sound asleep and I huff and flop back onto my pillow after waiting to see if she'd just magically wake up from my staring.
I try going back to sleep but it doesn't work out, "Dammit.. Might as well get up." I sigh then stand from my bed and run my hands through my hair, "Food.. I need food." I say as I walk over and grab a sweatshirt. I slip on my vans, pull on a beanie, grab my keys and wallet then I head out the dorm.
"I think i'll go to the coffee shop a few blocks from campus today." I say to myself as I walk out of the dorm building. If people heard me talking to myself they'd probably think i'm crazy. I start on my journey and it takes me about 10 minutes to get there. I can see the coffee shop ahead of me and it looks so cozy. Too bad I forgot to bring a book to read, maybe they'll have books.. I hope there's not many people considering it's only eight twenty on a Sunday morning.
I pull the door open and instantly the smell of coffee and cinnamon fills my nose and it makes me smile. I walk up to the counter and a cute guy turns around and smiles. "Hi, can I take your order?" he grins, "Hello." I smile then continue, "Umm, I'll have a chocolate caramel frappuccino.. and a chocolate chip scone." I reply and he begins entering the order, once done he glances up, "Nice choice, and by the way the scone is amazing." he grins then goes to make my coffee.
I wait for a minute or two and he places the coffee and scone on the counter top and I pay. When I go to give him the money our hands brush and we both look away blushing, he hands me my change and gives me a small but adorable smile and I can't help but return it before I turn around. When I turn someone runs right into me and hot coffee goes all over my chest.
"Ifreann fuilteacha ! Mo olc , tá mé brón orainn !" (bloody hell! My bad, I'm sorry!) I shout but then it hits me why'd I just apologize they ran into me. That's when I look up and see who it is, of course he doesn't say sorry. It's none other than Harry Styles himself.
"Atá tú a fuair a bheith Dáiríre dom." (you've got to be kidding me) I mumble and Harry smirks, "What the hell are you saying?" he chuckles, "Ní chuireann sé ábhar a faobhar anois." (it doesn't matter now prick) I say as I bend down to pick up the stuff I just dropped. "Stop speaking in Irish I can't understand you." he says and nudges me with his foot making me look up at him but I notice he has a girl with him. I stand and a smirk pulls at my lips, "Maith , go bhfuil an pointe." (good that's the point) I reply and throw away the stuff I dropped."Um miss?" the coffee guy says and I turn around, "Yes?" "Here." he replies while smiling and holds out a new coffee and scone. "Oh my gosh thank you! Do I need to pay again?" "No, it's totally fine. Don't worry about it." he smiles and I take the food from him and smile back and I feel my cheeks heat up. Not gonna lie it was kinda cute and the coffee guy was about to speak when Harry decided to butt in.
"So you'll talk to this guy normally and you'll yell at me in Irish?" "Harry I wasn't yelling at you." I sigh and tilt my head back and the cute coffee guy smiles sweetly and speaks, "You're very welcome. Maybe i'll see you around?" he asks and I can't help the light smile that pulls at my lips, "Maybe you will." I reply and his grin grows before he turns to go back to the counter and I go take a seat in a booth.
A few minutes pass and I finish my scone and sip on my coffee as I look out the big window that's next to me. I really should have asked for coffee guys name, or looked at his name tag. Why'd I not think about that?
I was lost in thought and hadn't even noticed that someone was sitting at my table until they cleared their throat. I glance over and it's more than one person. It's Harry and the girl that was with him. "What do you want?" I sigh and look back out the window. "You looked a tad pathetic over here alone. We figured we'd help you out." the girl chimes in and I look at her not able to think of a good response. Gosh that was rude.
