The clock tower... It holds many memories; friends, victories, ice cream- But this very dark day had nothing of happiness to hold. A dark storm. It was rising in from the farthest of the Northern plains. The townsfolk of Twilight town had spoken of it for days. But no one took them seriously, no one from the organization 13 of course...

"I don't care what types of rumors are being spread around that demented world. You will still recon and report back to me imminently, or I will put an abrupt stop to your life expectancy." Saix the 7th member of the organization said, hissing.

"Oh yes sir, how considerate of you... (Sighs) Fine, but don't expect me to come back in one piece." Axel kept trying to reason with his blue haired acquaintance.

"I could care less if you came back at all... Just hurry up and finish your job." Saix replied.

Axel shrugged and turned to Roxas.

"Hey Roxas, you and I are teamed up for recon today. In the amazing Twilight town..." Axel laughed, ignoring Saix.

Roxas shivered and turned around to stare at Saix, "He's making us go to Twilight town in the middle of a storm? It's probably going to be the largest one they're ever had!"

Saix scuffed at Roxas and turned his back to him, "And I expect you to come back here with the recon results of an entire team."

Axel laughed to himself and rubbed at the back of his head. In turn, Roxas started giggling as Axel opened their portal and the duo stepped through.

"Did they take the bait?" Xemnas slowly emerged from the shadows.

"Yes, they'll be going right into the heart of the tram tracks for most of the recon. By the time they resurface, the eye of the storm should be passing over." Saix replied with a small smile growing.

"Perfect, by the time they come out of the passages, there should be no problem with them getting sucked up." Xemnas stared out of the common room window at the giant heart in the sky.

Saix turned to leave, but before he did- a thought hit the back of his head. "I'm sure you meant nothing when you sent our most important assassin out there... But I'll also ignore the fact that you're the most deceiving of us all..."

Xemnas scowled at him and began walking the other way. "But don't forget- no one parted heaven to give you another chance at life. When your heart was taken from you, who gave you a second chance?"

Saix sighed, closing his eyes and walked off behind him.

Axel and Roxas appeared in the center of the underground trams. They tried their best to remember what the mission was, ignoring their pestering nervousness of the storm. They heard a small sound in the corner and noticed that there were some children coming towards them.

"Hide Roxas..." Axel whispered, already disappearing around the corner.

Roxas quickly responded and peered around the same corner as Axel. They saw two mysterious children standing there, two that had never been seen before... One of them was a girl with two giant ponytails, one purple and one red, she turned to look at the silver haired boy in front of her.

"My cousin said that the storm is gonna be here in any second... We better hurry before it rips the entire town apart." She hummed, rushing off. The boy nodded silent and followed right behind her.

"You hear that Axel? It seems like the storm really is going to be coming..." Roxas looked down with a feeling of terror.

Axel patted Roxas's shoulder and sighed... If you want- we can just skip the mission. I'll come up with some dumb excuse for Saix. Let's go make sure the storm's not here yet."

"No we can't do that! I made a promise to Xion..." Roxas whined looking down. Even he didn't know why he did it.

"And just what thing did you promise her? You made sure it was something that was actually possible right?" Axel said looking as though he was covered in questions.

"Of course I did! I never make a promise that I can't keep! Xion told me that breaking promises are the worst things you can do." Roxas tried to smile but felt a kind of odd feeling coming over him.

"Well then- what is the thing you swore yourself to- romantic zombie?" Axel said with a small chuckle.

"Hey leave me alone! I just want to do something nice for her! Well... She kind of asked and before I could even think- I impulsively blurted an answer out." Roxas blushed when he said it.

Axel knew that Roxas didn't have a heart, just like him... But Roxas sure was acting weird. It almost seemed like he was in love and he had some kind of crush on Xion.

"Alright Romeo, well what's this important quest you're on?" Axel said giggling to himself. He had to nearly hunch over to keep from bursting out laughing.

"There's some boy who she wants me to make sure is alright." Roxas slid down the steps with a small look of jealousy.

"Fine then we'll listen out for the storm while we work... If we hear anything that we don't like- we'll hurry out and head right back home." Axel snickered, peering around to make sure all the kids were gone.

"Right, Saix and Xion should be happy as long as we get some work done." Roxas summoned his key blade and ran out into the hall first.

"Wait for me!" Axel hopped up, rushing along. He laughed to himself as Roxas ran down the tram stairs and a tiny heartless appeared. Roxas jumped out of his "love" trance and slowly backed up.

"Relax Roxas... This thing so tiny, it belongs in Wonderland." Axel said pulling his chakras down slowly.

Roxas shivered, he figured that some part of this was all a diversion.

"See? I'll show you." Axel slowly strolled over to the heartless and tapped its head gently with the edge of his chakram.

"SQUEEEEL!!!!!" The heartless grew twenty times in size and lunged at the boys.

"ROXAS!" Axel screamed out, seeing the monster's defense mechanism.

Roxas quickly dodges the shot and the giant heartless slammed straight into one of the tram's closed gates. Axel saw that opportunity and started shooting huge blasts of fire at it. Roxas copied him by shooting a few firaga blasts. The heartless ate one of the blasts and shot it back. Roxas deflected it, but didn't see when the tail of the beast was swinging around as well.

"Aww crap- Roxas!" Axel could see it coming, but he was pint under the monster's huge claws.

Roxas sadly took the blow to the stomach and went swirling backward. He hopped up and sliced at the creature with his key blade. He tossed the thing backwards and gave Axel a chance to regain his stance and attack again. Jumping at the chance he hopped up in a blazing rage. Quickly he sliced the heartless's arms with his chakrams swinging fast.

"Axel hurry- I hear something!" Roxas blurted out distracted.

"NOT NOW!" Axel screamed back.

It seemed like the boys fought the demonic heartless forever. Finally it collapsed and disappeared, shooting hundreds of hearts out into the air. Finally Roxas and Axel stopped listening to their own tried pants and remembered the storm.

"Oh god- we we're so busy with that thing- that we forgot all about that stupid storm." Axel said putting his chakrams away and smirking.

"WE!? I remembered the storm! You just remembered that you wanted to destroy that 'tiny wonderland heartless!' "Roxas shouted back.

"Fine- but we both we're the ones that accepted this mission, so we both take blame. Besides, I'm not even gonna mention how many times you were knocked off your feet by that thing." Axel laughed back in response.

Roxas growled in disbelief, "You were also the one that was pinned down most of the time though!"

"Alright enough dude... You don't have to pitch a fit..." Axel stared blankly.

"I'm not-" Roxas shouted as loud as he could before they heard a loud crash. They suddenly heard wind whipping and people yelling something out. Both boys ran outside and gasped loudly.
