Twisted Love (Dramione love story)

Ch. 9

Hermione's POV

After yesterday I was really hoping that someone would ask me to the ball. Me, Ginny and Pansy all got our masks. We all decided to get black masks with designs on them. Mine had swirls of silver on the corners and it was outline with red. I got black heels to wear with the dress. I got all of my stuff early and I needed to do homework so I went back.

I walked into my common room to see Draco sitting on the ground with papers sprawled out.

"Hey"

He looked up from his papers

"Hey"

"What are you doing?"

I walked over to him and sat down

"Homework, the usual"

"Oh"

I leaned my head onto his shoulder. After breaking up with Ron I became very close with Draco. He was there when I really needed him and I had to say I was starting to fall for him but I wasn't ready yet. We had spent some days just hanging out and doing our homework or studying.

"So did you get a dress for the ball?"

"Yeah. Did you get a dress robe yet?"

"Yeah."

This upset me, so if he got one already did he have a date? I didn't want to sound weird but I kinda wanted him to ask me

"Who are you going with?"

I decided to ask just to see

"I haven't asked her yet"

"Really?"

"No but I'm going to soon"

"Oh"

I went upstairs and got all of my homework and joined him. We spent a while just finishing our homework and talking about what our weekends had been like. Draco told me about shopping with Blaise so I told him about Ginny and Pansy

"So you and Pansy good friends now?"

"Yeah I know it's shocking I never knew that we could ever be friends"

"Yeah once you get to know her she is pretty nice"

Suddenly Draco looked me in the eyes

"Hermione do you have a date to the ball?"

"No but I'm hoping for one boy to ask me"

"Really? Who?"

"You know him"

"Ron?!"

"No!"

"Who then?"

I moved closer to him

"Well he is in slytherin"

"What!?"

I was surprised he was getting mad.

"Well I was wondering if you would go with me?"

I looked into his eyes

"Are you serious?"

I saw some hurt in his eyes

"Yeah"

I gasped and didn't know what to do but my response was

"Yes"

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah I would love to go with you"

He started to lean towards me so I froze, was he going to kiss me. He continued to get closer and suddenly our lips touched. As soon as they did I closed my eyes and put him in control. I felt sparks, no fireworks!

It felt amazing. In time our lips moved in perfect sync, he cupped the side of my face and turned his head to deepen the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Once we broke apart I felt breathless. We leaned our foreheads together staring into each others eyes.

"So on another note"

He said with lack of breath. I giggled

"What color is your dress so I can match you?"

"You don't need to buy a new robe just to match me it's fine"

"I want to"

"My dress is grey"

"Ok so I already match you, my robes are grey and silver."

"Ok"

He leaned in again and gave me a light peck.

"So about that's kiss?"

Draco looked at me

"Well I have to confess something. I've had a crush on you since 5th year"

"Really?!"

"Yeah. I though you were the most intelligent and beautiful girl I've ever met and I still feel the same way"

I felt touched by what he said

"Funny thing is I've started falling for you"

"Ok. So I want to know. Would you give me a chance?"

"You mean as my boyfriend?"

"Yeah. I promise I won't hurt you like Ron did. If I did I would want to kill myself. After seeing you cry that night I knew I wanted to protect you from being hurt again. Please give me that chance."

I leaned in and kissed him lightly. I leaned towards his ear

"Of course"

"Really"

"Yeah"

He pulled me into a mind blowing kiss that lasted a few seconds

"Just one thing we have to hide this from everyone first I don't know how they would react to this until they get used to you and understand who you truly are"

"Anything for you love"

That night I fell asleep in the arms if the man I love. I was hoping that everyone understood and even if they didn't nothing would break us apart.
