Ch. 24- Malfoy Ball

The next day I woke up and took a quick shower. I had to be at Malfoy manor by 3pm. Draco had left the night before to help his mother set up their house. I decided to left my hair air dry to give it more volume.

My mom decided she was going to do my hair. So I wasn't allowed to do anything to it until she said I could. I walked downstairs after putting on sweats. I walked into my kitchen to see my mom running everywhere

"Mom what are you doing?"

"I'm making you breakfast"

"Oh thank you"

"No prob"

She then handed me a plate with eggs on a plain bagel and strawberries. I sat in the dinning room and took my time eating

"So mom when do I have to start getting ready?"

"Probably by one if you want two hours to get ready so you can relax."

"Ok so that's in a.."

I looked around for a clock when my mom said

"Half hour"

"Half hour?!"

"Yeah"

"I slept till 12:30 and you didn't wake me"

"Well I know that today is going to be a long day so I wanted you to get your rest"

I shrugged and finished my food and then headed upstairs. I began to do my face makeup since my dress didn't have to get pulled over my head. I put on black eyeliner and mascara. I put on black eyeshadow and put accents of gold on the corners of my eyes

I put on foundation and some blush. I looked into the mirror. The eyeshadow made my eyes pop. My mom walked in to do my hair. When she saw my eye makeup she gasped

"You look beautiful"

"Thanks mom"

I smiled. She looked at my hair and was deciding how to do it. She took out my straightener and straightened my hair slightly but still allowed it to have the volume of my original hair. She took a few puns and pinned back the front so it wasn't in my face.

I turned and looked in the mirror, I looked like completely different person.

"Like it?"

"Like it? I love it!"

I hugged her. She got out my dress

"Put it on while I get your shoes"

I looked at my clock it was already 2. I had an hour to be ready and at the Malfoy's. I put on my dress and my mom helped me zip it up. I looked at my dress and was satisfied with how I looked, my mom helped me out the shoes on

"There you're ready"

"Thanks"

"No problem"

I walked downstairs and I saw Draco talking to my dad downstairs. He was wearing all black but a silver tie. He turned and saw me and his eyes widened. I smiled at him and he nervously smiled back

"Are you ready?"

I said when I walked up to him

"Yeah we can just flop there and we will be about fifteen minutes early"

"Ok"

I hugged my mom and dad. My mom took a few pictures before we left though. Me and Draco walked into my fireplace, he picked up some of the floo powder

"Malfoy manor"

He threw the power down when he said it and we were suddenly in his living room.
