Home: Michael

Once again you wait for another phone call from my boyfriend Michael.. It's been days since I last heard from him..I whimper out to myself "I really hope he's okay."

It's only natural to worry because he's been gone for so long. You know you should be used to this feeling because you've been dating him since the band formally formed back in 2011. You look down to your phone and let out a small sigh and set it down beside you on your shared bed. Once you set it down, the familiar ringtone of "Wrapped Around Your Finger" started to blare. You started to smile huge and answer it quickly.

"Mikey Boo!!" you screamed into his ear happily.

"Hi baby girl!"he said, you could basically hear his smile in his voice.

You giggled to yourself and asked him about tour and how it was going. He sounded pretty happy, but you could hear the obvious tone in his voice of him being nervous.

"Mikey...what's wrong, I know there's something wrong. I know you inside and out, I know when something isn't right.." You ask worriedly.

He inhales a bit deeply, "Well...I found out today that the tour will be a bit longer.. I'm so sorry babe.. I know you haven't seen me in months..but it'll only be for another week or two.."

Your smile that you once had was turning into a frown. "O-oh... so you dont be home for a bit longer.. alright..that'll be okay. Hey at least you're coming home..That's all I could ask for babes." You say, trying to make yourself smile. The both of you continue to talk on the phone for another hour or two until he has to actually go to sleep.

A week and a half passes by, you're at your shared flat cleaning around the house, because at any time Michael could be home. After throwing the last load of laundry into the washer, you hear some movement in the house and your ears perk up. You smile huge to hear Michael taking off his boots by the door. You run to him and just about tackle him over as he's getting his other boot off.

"Someone missed me." He laughs hard, hugging you just as tightly back.

"Of course I did! Silly silly boy. I missed you so much. I'm so happy you're home, god this is the best thing ever!" you smile as huge as humanly possible and cling to him for dear life.

"I missed you too, baby girl. It's nice to be home for once.. I won't be leaving for a long time now, you don't have to worry about that!" He smiles, "Now let's go to the bedroom, yea? We've got some catching up to do!" He picks you up bridal style and carries you into the bedroom while you erupt in giggles.

And with that, your boyfriend is finally home in your arms once again!
