Chapter Three

Darkness surrounded Tobin, swallowing her whole and choking out any hopes of escape. The whip cracked in the air, and the room felt like it was on fire. Her shoulders ached and her hands were tied behind her.

"Please stop," Tobin whispered, sweat pouring down her scarred and broken body. "Please, I'm begging you!"

Aston pushed his bangs out of his face and rolled up his shirt sleeves, hanging the whip at his belt. He grabbed a knife and cut through the ropes, causing Tobin to fall forward on her face.

Aston bent over to her and carved his initials on her left shoulder; A.H.S.

Tobin whimpered and struggled, wishing that this was just a horrible dream and that she would wake up at any minute right next to Alex.

"God damnit, Tobin," Aston whistled through his teeth. "You're even hotter when you're naked."

Tobin squeezed her eyes shut and clenched her teeth as Aston ran a hand over chest and stomach. How long will this last?! she cried to God silently.

Aston picked her up and carried her to another room, one that had a single candle lit in it.

"Start healing fast," he smirked, straddling her hips. "'Cause morning's coming fast..."

Alex stuffed her phone in her back pocket, too occupied with her worry for Tobin. It had been almost 76 hours since she'd gone missing, and Alex hadn't gotten a wink of sleep since then.

Her phone buzzed and buzzed, but she ignored it. All that mattered was Tobin.

Alex spotted A-Rod across the room with Kelley and walked over to them.

"Hey guys, any news about Tobin?" she asked hopefully.

A-Rod shook her head.

"Sorry 'Lex, but no," she replied. "Nobody's got a clue where she went. Even Jill had no idea."

Alex sighed, almost angrily, but tried not to let her frustration show.

"Have you seen Hope, by the way?" Kelley asked, worriedly.

Alex froze at the sound of the name.

"Sorry, KO, no," Alex carefully replied. "Why?"

"We had a fight, that's all," Kelley mumbled. "I'm just worried, that's all..."

Alex noticed Kelleys eyes sparkling, but she turned away before Alex could ask what was wrong.

"Don't worry, Alex," A-Rod broke the silence. "We'll find Tobin."

Alex nodded sadly. Tobin was, no, is, my everything. I can't lose her now.
