Guys, I am so done. I am so frustrated with trying to constantly explain that the terrorist reference WAS NOT intended to be racist. I understand that it came off very offensive and racist, but please know that I am VERY SORRY for my insensitivity.
I have apologized over and over again, explaining that the racism and stereotyping was never my intention, but I am about to be fed up.
When the idea for I Can't Love You, What Love Does To You, and Saving U(S) came to mind,my intention was to write a beautiful story about love, sacrifice, and selflessness, but now, I am just tired of looking at the comments about how I am racist or stereotypical. Again, MY INTENTION WAS NOT TO OFFEND.
I would be more than happy to delete this story, because I don't want people to fight over this one mistake I made.
I feel that maybe writing this story was a mistake, and that the 16k+ people that have looked and read the whole series are spending too much time focusing on the terrorism instead of focusing on what this story is REALLY about. So let me tell you what it's really about.
Love.
Sacrifice.
Selflessness.
Family.
Finding joy in pain.
Self empowerment.
Togetherness.
