My sword swung at Hermia's training sword. Since she didn't have a sword, she used a spare one; the camp has extra ones for campers. Hermia swung her sword at me. Our swords collided with a big Clink! I pushed my sword down, spun around and swung my sword at her. She screamed and backed away. My sword dove into the ground. I groaned angrily.
"Hermia, come on!" I said.
"Sorry! I'm not good with violence!" She bit her lip.
Her innocent face made me immediately forgive her.
"Oh, it's okay!" I replied, patting her head.
She smiled even brighter. Then there was rumbling like thunder. A shadow blocked out the sun, I looked up to see a dark grey cloud swirling around over head.
"What's going on?" Demetrius remarked.
The air surrounding the camp turned cold. Nero, Kleftis and Toxovolia ran towards us, their faces confused.
"What in The Great Flood is going on here?" Nero asked.
"Oh Nero, don't act so innocent! I know you are causing this!" Kleftis squinted her eyes at Nero.
"I swear on The River Styx I didn't do anything!" Nero proclaimed.
"Well Poseidon must have something to do with thi-" Toxovolia started, then tumbled over because the earth shook too hard.
Everyone fell over because of the earth's rapid shaking. My hair fell over my face and into my mouth. I spat it out and got up; I did not like the taste of strawberry shampoo. Once I got up I looked over at Hermia, who was dazed and trying to get up. I ran over to her and helped her to her feet.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked her.
"Yes. Sort of." Hermia said.
Everyone got up. The clouds got really dark. The wind blew everyone's hair back. We all covered our faces with our hands. The wild wind blow dust and sand everywhere making it hard to see anything.
"The weather is never like this!" Toxovolia stated.
Then lightning shot down everywhere. It wasn't one at a time. But three shot down to earth at the same speed and time. One landed on my left making me jump and duck. I ducked as another bolt spun past my head. A tree exploded in the distance. All we could see was smoke from where the lightning hit. Everyone screamed and ran not knowing to where.
"Hurry! Head to the Safety Cabin!" Kleftis cried.
"Wait, what?" I asked.
"Just go!" Kleftis yelled over the howling wind.
I ran faster. My hair got in my eyes making my vision worse. I tripped on something, and fell. I rolled down what seemed to be a hill.
"It's about time, Daughter of Hera." A voice said.
I pushed the hair out of my eyes and looked around. No one was around me; I was alone in a part of the woods I didn't know. I looked up at the sky. The clouds moved around to rearrange into a grown man's face with a beard and eyes like lightning.
"I have tried to kill you for years, and you made it here? Outrageous!" The voice bellowed.
"W-what?" I asked.
