Tai POV

Zero stood a float in the sky in front of me while I hold on to the mana I gathered to my hand to control the wind he says he'll deliver.

It's bad enough the fact that the women I was trying to avoid since I began middle school somehow followed me to Legio and now this. I was planning to sharpen my sword skill up because Gaia is unpredictable and I really wanted an ability that had free will and control over swordsmanship.

Zero was my ticket to that but, the fact that he was able to conjure up a disaster that brought Tamashi into play! Worse is the fact that this guy probably doesn't know that we're basically fighting the student council!

I look at Zero, my eyes widen as his Mana slowly deteriorates to the point where it's just a pin prick from death.

I almost lose grip on my own mana when suddenly, Zero's mana just sky rockets back to normal.

"Tai, here you....GO!" Zero whispers only yelling as he says go to gain everyone's attention.

I used to think that never worked but looks like it does and as if the burst of mana that flowed in Zero gave rise to a torrent of air, I grab hold of a small amount before it freezes in Tamashi's radii of time pause.

The radius of the >Time Pause< decreases enough for Zero to escape. He runs across me and slides to a stop in an opening observing the field.

I smirk as the single thought passes my mind, 'Zero doesn't give a shit if I escape aye?'

I release the gathered mana all at once, "Futon~ >Hariken Tempest<!"

Immediately, about 4 tornadoes form around me at once and send Tamashi and the others flying. Zero was already far from my range so it kind of ticked me off but, he's in my team so I can't say much.

I slowly recuperate what mana I lost only to be sent flying back by 'Ms Air Daggers a lot'.

The short girl lifts her dagger and faces me full on while I slowly slide to a halt a few metres away. Everyone resume their fighting at the same time. A blonde ran up against Koime Tora, the Iron giant and Vice president of the student body. The blonde is out of his mind but the white haired girl seems to know her way around magic so they might live....and I emphasise the word 'might'.

I look away from all distractions and face the treasurer of the council, Ayako Ayase who holds her dagger in a defensive motion almost telling me to attack first.

I let my sword form as I slowly run towards Ayako with the idea of staying up on air the entire time, I jump as I reach the centre. Surprisingly enough Ayako followed my motion, but instead of attacking me directly, she disappeared mid jump and reappeared in front of me, dagger zooming towards my chest.

I let out a sigh and let a giant burst of air to my sword hand, blocking the oncoming danger. I needed to recover from that and thus I pushed my hand out and begin gathering air around my sword while Ayako's sword changed from its normal silver to a clear white one, almost transparent.

The moment our feet touch land, we both burst off, flying straight at each other. I send a blast of air at her using my Kaze Ken. She slices straight through it causing a vacuum.

Taking this as a chance, I survey the land for anything I can use when my eyes land on Zero who was drilling into the twins of the student council.
