Zero's POV

I walked towards the Legio south entrance with a bit of disappointment at the back of my head.

A few hours after I got home from the Kendo Club and bidding farewell to Sachin, I found Kaneki and Leon sitting by the couch watching TV looking almost....bored to death?

Kaneki reported that Kairo has no idea about what or who this Shinoha person was and scolded Kaneki for persuading me into releasing Leon.

Leon on the other hand, learned from the guards that a small army, much more like guild were coming to Legio. They are apparently covering all of Legio except the North and East Perimeters which seemed weird and when Leon reported this to Kairo, he immediately dispatched Mare and Flint.

I sigh as I reach the four familiar faces of my team.

Yoshi and Tai both sported side bag and shin guards. Tai wore a V-neck and mid-night black jeans with a light blue converse while Yoshi wore a black Polo and baggy jeans with flats that almost looked attached to the ground.

Shiro and Mei both wore a back pack with a sheath sporting their own preferred object for battle. Shiro's was a hand-and-a half blade while Mei had her 'Staff of the Night' or also referred to as 'Yozora no Tsue'. Shiro wore a red top with black shorts and nettings that go till her knees and black 'hidden knife' shoes. That girls out for blood....

Mei wore a blue dress with white tights and white shoes. I can't help smirk at Yoshi who glares in return.

The Principal warps in front of the gate with two black suited figures and claps his hands.

"Yes! This shall be your first mission and the first for the LLH to be able to send their first years to combat!" The principal claps with delight

"Wait...What do you mean by 'a first'?" Shiro inquired.

"The General of Legio doesn't allow it but, you five are actually to head to the tower with your other friends. But after what the King had ordered of the General, he is sending each team from within Legio..."

"So, there will be three other teams?" Mei asked shifting her head to a side.

The corners of Legio have been in a kind of civil....war? Nah, more like Civil Jealousy of which side can produce the best of the best. So our LLH isn't the only one.

To tell us apart, Legio General Shimei Cross had given us our own 'Section specific badges'. The North have the Eagle of Pride, East bear the Crows of Damned, West holds the Cross of the Serpents and the South in other words, we attained the Lost Wolf of the Wondering Pack.

"Nope! There will be only you for this mission. They will head out for their own mission for whenever there damned Principal want it." The Principal says with a smile.

"On another note, these two will be joining you for your trip only for the majority of 7 leagues. You have to cover the rest on your own and your mission lasts a week and 5 days. May your sword stay sharp~"

And with that, we were on our way to Aldale from where we were going to take the small of half a day to Kalian.

The two guards joining us were so quiet, even Tai found it hard to make room for light conversation. At the speed we ran, I found the perfect chance to split from Leon and Kaneki so they would make their trip to the base for Kairo.
