It was after class, and Rocky had left way before I have. Once I walked out of the classroom, I noticed that she was already talking it up with Bryan. My heart pounded and my nerves jumbled when Rocky looked over and pointed at me. Once I was motioned over, I knew I didn't have much of a choice. Tugging at the one strap on my shoulder, I walked over quietly.
"Yeah?" I asked in my usual quiet tone. My eyebrow was arched upward, something I always tend to do around her. I guess I'll always question her.
"Are you having a bad day?" Rocky asked, giving a fake pout. Seeing my confused expression, she grinned and held back a giggle. I questioned this girl even more, but I stopped when my face flushed red. Bryan walked to my side and gave me a hug.
He's...hugging me!? I thought to myself, wrapping an arm around him hesitantly to return the hug. Though, it didn't last as long as I hoped.
"Feel better," his deep voice spoke out to me. He gave Rocky a quick hug and a peck on the cheek before walking away from his locker. That's when Rocky burst into a fit of giggles.
"You convinced him to hug me?" I asked, shocked as we began to walk. Rocky grinned.
"Kinda," she replied in a bubbly manner. "I told him that you were having a bad day and I suggested that he comforted you."
I stayed quiet, nodding and just deciding to not ask any further questions. Once making it to the stairs, Rocky planted a large kiss on my forehead.
"Love ya!!" She chirped, running down the stairs to get go class. I just watched her, wiping at my forehead.
"Hey Jess!!" A voice then shouted, and I turned to see my cousin. Her name was Aubrey, and she was the exact opposite of me. She had a really thin frame, dirty blonde hair, and her skin made her look white. I wasn't exactly skinny, nor was I fat. My hair was dark brown and curly, and my skin was a light tan. Most called her beautiful...but what did that make me?
"Hey, what's up?" I asked, wondering what she needed this time. What is it now? Homework or study guide?
"I needed to talk to you about something," Aubrey stated, putting a hand on my shoulder
Oh crap, this doesn't sound well...
