"You know Alejandro, don't you?" Aubrey asked, earning a quiet nod in response. Of course I knew him, we're best friends. But I really like him, and I want it to be more.
"What about him?"
"We started dating!" Aubrey happily stated, smiling. "Isn't it great?" She asked, but her expression went to confusion when I shrugged her hand off. My own cousin dating the guy I like? That's cold...
"Jess, what's wrong?"
"I'm fine," I quietly muttered to her, pushing past her to make it to my next class. Well, this really got me in a bad mood.
"Hey! What's wrong?" I heard Rocky's voice as she rushed over. I grunted quietly.
"It's nothing..."
"That girl was a bitch to me earlier,"
"That's my cousin"
"Oh. Well your cousin is a bitch"
"I know," I sighed out. Normally I wouldn't agree with such a thing, but my simmering anger made me. "Let's just go to class."
"I can make it up to you," Rocky said with a slow grin. Not being used to it, I shuddered once more. This girl is just so...unusual.
"How?" I asked as we neared our geometry class. She just grabbed my wrist and dragged me to class, my question lingering in the air. I gave a sigh, my feet stumbling every so often.
"Hey, hey chill!! I'm gonna fall!" I warned her, feeling my feet close to tripping myself.
"No your n-" but Rocky stopped herself as I tumbled to the ground, my knees stinging in pain. I grunted quietly, looking up at her with a glare through my clear lenses. Her laughter echoed through the hall as she choked out a "My bad!".
"I told you.." I grumbled, sitting on my knees to rub my now sore and red hands. My cheeks burned with embarassment as some people laughed with her
