Chapter O4.
Summer was officially over and so was soccer . The girls and I haven't seen the boys ever since the day they went to the beach . which was 2 months ago . None of us contacted each other at . Why ? I really don't know .
"Jessika are you ready ??!" my mom yelled from downstairs
" Yeah má , I'm coming " I said
It was my first day of middle school , new faces , new friends , new year , and I was ready .
" Jessika! " Bridget yelled from across the hall
" Bridget ! " I said running towards her .
" Let me see your schedule, " she said " Ohk we have 1st and 3rd period together and lunch " she said
" What's first?" I asked
" P.E. " she said
"RRRRRIIING" the bell rang
We walked towards the locker room ad went to our locker we were given and changed into our P.E. clothes .
"I hope we play soccer " I said
"Imagine , hey Emy did transfer did she " she asked
"No she couldn't " I said
Emy was a year older than us and lived on the other side of town so she had to go to another school .
" Hello class my my name is Mr. Roberts I will be your P.E. teacher this year ." a man said " Today we will be you know what it's the first day of school I'll give you a free day "
Bridget and I got up and quickly ran to the soccer fields .
A bunch of guys came over and started talking to us.
"Hey leave you two, girls can't play soccer hand over the ball" a boy said
instead of getting into a fight on the first day I kicked the ball as hard as I could to the guy and it hit him right in the stomach .
" So what now " Bridget asked
" We can just grab another ball and pass it around " I suggested
so for the rest of class we were teaching ourselves new tricks and passing the ball back and fourth .
LUNCH
" God that line is waaaay to long " I said looking at the lunch line
" yeah let's go to the field and see if there playing soccer " Bridget said
We got to the field and the group of guys that kicked us out during P.E.
" Let us in yeah ? " Bridget asked
"How about no " the same boy from earlier said
" Hey man let them play ." A boy said behind him
I couldn't see him though someone else was indent of him
" fine but there on your team " he said
Then I saw the boy he was talking to.
The game had started. The other team had the ball but Bridget quickly snatched it from them she then dribbled around two guys and passed it to me a big guy came towards me , so I passed it right back to Bridget we were right in front if the goal so Bridget passed it to , I did a fake kick them shot and the ball went in .
On cue the bell rand signally lunch was over.
" Can we play now ." I said looking at the boys trying to catch their breaths .
"Thanks " I said
" Ehh no problem , I didn't know you were coming to this school" Steven said " we should hang sometime ?"
" yeah sounds great " I said
LATER THAT DAY
" Steven going to Canyon Middle school makes school so much better " I said to Bridget
" OMG I know " she said
"But , he's an 8th Grader"
"An 8th grader that's totally into you " Bridget nearly screamed
" Lets just finish our homework and sleep " I said
NEXT DAY
1-5 period were ohk but when we got to lunch everything got better .
" Hey I don't feel like playing today " Bridget said
"Yeah me neither" I said
I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see Steven , who was no longer my height but at least 4 inches taller than me .
"Hi " he said
"H-Hey " I said
" I'll just go find Melina " Bridget said while walking away .
" I was wondering if you liked to walk around ? " he asked
"Of course " I said
With that he started walking and showing me the school .
" Limón !" A guy shouted from behind us
We turned and saw Miguel .
"Hey man what's up " Steven said while doing that whole guy hand shake with Miguel
"Miguel! " I said
"Jessika! " he said while pulling me into a hug " you go here? " he asked
" Yeah and here's a challenge for you Bridget is somewhere between that tree and that tree " I said pointing to two trees
" Bye nice seeing you again Jess , guna go find my girl " he said with a wink
