Chapter O5.
1 Week Later
Its been a week since school started and everything's gone pretty well, Steven and I became closer , best friends to say , Emy some how transferred to Canyon and is now, and Bridget and Miguel are now dating. I guess you can say its been a great school year even though its only been a week.
Soccer try outs are on Wednesday, which gives us two days to prepare. Since Bridget and I are 7th graders we have to try out since its our first year, but for Steven, Miguel, and Eddie they're 8th graders and were on the team last year they already have their spots.
Emy's the one that has to find a way on getting on the 8th grade team since she went to another school last year, poor her.
I arrived at school and the first person I saw was Miguel.
" Hey Miguel " I said
" Hola Señorita " Miguel said
" Your Spanish doee " I said while laughing
" What's wrong with my Spanish " he asked
" Nothing, it's just ha never mind " I said
Suddenly someone covered my eyes with their hands.
" Guess who ? " a voice said
" Umm, Harry Styles !!? " I said
" Sure " Bridget said while uncovering my eyes
" Hey hoe. " I said
" Sup my niggah. " she said in the most ghetto voice ever
" You girls ready for try outs ? " Eddie said while walking up to us
" Hell yeah " I said while pulling him into a hug
" So, are you gonna ask Emy out ? " I asked Eddie
" I don't kn-
" Yes, Jessika I am " I said cutting him off
" Yes, Jessika I am " he said while laughing
" So what about you and Steven ? " Bridget asked
" Ehh, were just friends " I said
" Hey guys " Steven said while walking up and putting his arm around my shoulders
" Just friends " I mouthed to Bridget
Emy showed up 5 seconds before the bell rang, typical Emy.
" Hey gu-
"Riiiinng" the bell for first period rang
"Fuuuuuuck you beeeelllll !" Emy said and we all laughed
Bridget, Miguel, and I walked to the locker rooms since we had P.E. first period.
Bridget and I went into the girls locker room and got changed and walked out to where out class sits.
" Good morning class " Mr. Roberts said while holding the attendance book
" Today's Monday so we will be running the mile." he said while taking attendance.
7th graders ran the mile while 8th graders had to do pacers which are just like suicides.
" Ready, set, Go! " Mr. Roberts said while starting the timer.
Bridget and I had finished it pretty quick 6:30 . So we got to go in early and just hang in the locker room.
" So just friends " Bridget said bringing up Steven
" Yes, just friends " I said
" Why did he put his arm around you??" she asked
" Cause, he's like my best guy friend it's just like how Eddie does the same to us ." I said giving a point
The bell rang signaling first period was over.
Luckily I had an elective 2nd and I had Eddie in that class, since it was an elective.
I had art, which wasn't all that fun, but hey at least it's a class with no homework.
Steven's class was right next door so he walked me to third everyday.
" Eddie " I said while sitting next to him
" Jessika " he said
" soooo..."
" Soooo, what " he asked
"Have you asked her ? " I asked
" No " he said hiding his face , " but trust I am during lunch. " he said
" You better " I said
LUNCH
" C'mon do it " I said to Eddie
" What if she turns me down ? " Eddie said worried
" She won't trust me "I said willing dragging Eddie towards her, " c'mon she right over there. " I said pointing to Emy who was talking to Melina.
" Ohk, I'm going in " he said
I walked with him and Miguel, Bridget, and Steven got there on time. By now people had caught on and saw what was going to happen and circled Emy and Eddie.
" I gotta record this " I said
I press the record button on my phone and Eddie did it .
" EE-Emy will yo-you be my girlfriend ? " he asked nervously
The whole crowd awwed .
" Yyes " Emy said
Out of nowhere everyone started yelling hug and kiss and many things .
Eddie and Emy hugged and held hands.
" Aww que cute " I said looking at the new couple
Emy started laughing and Eddie smiled
" You guys are officially Edmy " I said while clapping my hands .
" Very creative , "Bridget said " how come you haven't given Miguel and I a couple name "
" You guys can be uumm.....Midget " I said
and started laughing .
" Really Midget ? " she asked
"that's the best I can do" I said still laughing .
