Chapter O6.
2 years haves passed by, yes 2!
We're all in high school now !
Me and Bridget are freshmen she's 15 and I'm 15 now.
Miguel, Eddie, Steven, and Emy are 16 and there all sophomores.
And we all go to El Rancho High School.
Things have stayed the same over the years, Edmy, and Midget are still going strong while Steven and I are......'Just Friends' . Even though I wish we were together.
I, Jessika Rivera , have been friend zoned.
"We should all go catch a movie after school " Steven suggested
" No can do " I said
" Porqueee ? " he asked
" unlike you guys Bridget and I kinda have to try out to make the soccer team." I said
" Don't worry you girls will make it." Steven said while giving me a side hug , which made butterflies erupt in my stomach.
" The J.V. team " I said , " I mean c'mon freshmen never make the varsity teams for anything, unless your like freakin superman at the sport." I said
" Well you and Bridget are Ronaldo and Messi combined at soccer so you WILL make the varsity team " Eddie said
" As long as we make a team. " Bridget said
" Hey if I made it varsity freshman year you two can to " Emy said
" Emy , your like every single soccer player combined into one ! " I said
Emy and I are at the same level at soccer, but I always think she's better than me cause EVERYONE tells her she's an amazing player and I get a " good game " or " good job today ", so yeah .
" You'll make it. " she said
4 weeks later
"Alright last try out today, names of the girls that made it will be put up after the practice " Coach Rafael said , " Give me three laps and then pass back and forth for 5 minutes, then 10 headers each." he said blowing his whistle signaling to start .
Bridget and I finished the three laps and started passing the ball back and forth. When all the girls had finished the drills Coach Rafael called us over .
" Can I get two goalies please ? " he asked
Two girls stepped up . One was named Sydney and the other Adrianna. Sydney was a freshman and Adrianna was a sophomore , guess she didn't try out last year.
" Alright, we are going to scrimmage " he said
Coach pointed to me Bridget and 8 other girls to go on Sydney's team , the he picked 10 other girls to go on Adrianna's team.
"Goalies are captains, you two can possession your player where ever " Coach said
Sydney put me as center mid , God bless her and she put Bridget as left mid which kinda worried me because she wasn't very confident using her left foot.
STEVEN'S POV
She's still so amazing after all these years. Miguel, Eddie and I were watching the girls try out , Emy was captain of the varsity team so she gets to help out the coach during tryouts.
" Hey man, you better ask her before some other guys takes her" Miguel said
" Nahh, she just thinks of us as friends" I said
Jessika had the ball she faked three players before passing the ball to Bridget.
Jessika was running towards the goal, when Bridget like if she read Jessika's mind crossed it right to her, and Jessika stopped the ball with he chest and let it fall, and she kicked it before it touched the ground. It hit the back of the net.
They both celebrated her goal and ran back to the their side.
" Limón, you ohk ? " Eddie asked
" I think I'm in love " I said while looking at Jessika
AN; Saaaaaay wuuuuut ?!
Midget and Edmy are still strong , will Stessika happen ? .
