Kory James is your normal 20 year old collage student. Studying Criminology, working part time at a Diner and hanging out with her friends, going on the odd date here and there, there has never been anything special about her. That is until one night when she is driving home from work and swerves her car to miss a dog that is just sitting in the middle of the road - not looking worried at all. As her car flips down the bank, she blacks out.
As she wakes, she finds an extremely good looking young man hovering over, checking her for injuries. With his short, slightly spiked blonde hair and striking green eyes, he is most easily the most handsome guy she has ever seen in her life. But he looks familiar...
As he helps her with the recovery of her minor injuries, she learns that he is a 21 year old tennis player who, after going through a tragedy that has left him with a shoulder injury, he isn't planning on playing again. But she knows that she can't let that happen. Why? Because Luke Sommers is the world #1 seed where she comes from - 5 years in the future. She was never really a fan of tennis, but over the last 3 years she had found herself watching every single one of his matches, but could never figure out why.
As she does everything she can to help him through his hard time and get back on the road to victory, their friendship grows and both start finding their affections for one another are anything but platonic.
So what will happen when Kory has to go back to her time? Will Luke be able to continue is journey without her, or will he give up?
