As Aang, Katara, and Sokka were touring the temple, I went off on my own. The shook of losing Kuzon was still biting at me. What if I never saw him again? And then there was Maya. I knew Kuzon would take care of her, and her for Kuzon, but I still worried.

"Hey." Said a girl who lived here, swing me wandering around. "You lost?"

I laughed. "I knew these halls perfectly before you were born." I smiled. "Just lost in thought."

"You know the best way to cheer yourself up?" She asked. "Flying, though I suppose I don't need to tell you that."

"No, but your right." I leaned on my staff slightly. "How about I teach you to really fly?"

* * *

"You want me to try with just your glider?" She asked. "They can only support air benders!"

"I once carried someone on my glider through the heart of the fire nation. Recently. I'll do the bending, just hold on."

She gripped the glider like I taught her and sent a Gust of wind at her. She shot into the sky and started screaming, but that soon turned to laughter as I made her do all sorts of tricks.

When she finally landed, her eyes were full of glee and her hair whipped out of its place.

"You get to fly like that all the time?" She asked. "Our gliders are nothing as good as that!"

"Just like all the elements, its impossible to learn them. You have to be born with the power." I told her. "Now come on, I want to fly now!"

Ten minutes later we were sparing through the sky, racing, doing tricks, exploring the temple by air, the way I used to as a child.

"I wish I could bend." Kiara, she had introduced herself as, said when we landed on the far side of the temple. "My parents were earth benders, but I've never been able to see if I can as well."

"You should try sometime. Bending is the coolest thing in the world." I told her. I can bend all the elements, and its amazing."

"Maybe I will then." Kiara stopped as she looked ahead. "What is that?"

I looked where she was pointing and laughed. "That'd where we would have 1 on 1 battles. No gliders, no bison, just the air benders and the air around then. Even though we aren't aggressive and don't enjoy fighting much, it's good to have the skills."

"Why do air benders have tattoos?" She asked.

"Well, it's the sign of a master. When a trainee is deemed worthy by the nomads, we shave our heads and get the tattoos. Aang was the youngest ever to get his, and I the second youngest."

"That's cool." Kiara said.

I shrugged. "It makes it harder to hide and blend in. But that's not the hardest thing to hide. My hair is."

She nodded. "I've never seen anyone before with light hair. It almost looks.. yellow."

I sighed. "Even without the arrows, people stare at me because of it. I feel like I'll never stop being the odd one out. Sister to the Avatar, light hair, nearly the last airbender, dea- other things as well." I had been about to say Deathbender.

"KILA!" Aang's voice rang throughout the halls. I snapped my head in the direction it came from.

"What is it?" Kiara asked, concerned. Of course. Aang hadn't really yelled. It was the connection between twins mixed with the connection between avatars that allowed us to speak to each other telepathically, though always left us with head aches, so we rarely used it.

Trouble?

Yes.

Comming.

I smiled calmly at Kiara. "It's nothing, but I gotta go. See you later?" And I ran off. The head ache was minor, the intensity always depended on the length of conversation.

I found him and a boy in a wheel chair in a room full of-

Fire nation weapons.

"Aang, what is going on here?" I asked calmly and slowly.

"He's working for the fire nation." Aang spat, featuring with his staff to an old looking inventor.

"I can explain." He said gravely.

"You had better." I said, casually lighting my hand. "Because if they won't burn you, I will."

He gulped and began his tragic back story. His wife was killed. His son can't walk. They invaded a temple for air nomads. They began destroying it because they didn't like the decorarions. Me and Aang didn't cry. We weren't impressed.

"They said if I didn't help them, they'd burn the place to the ground. I had to do something. What choice did I have?"

"You could have fought." Aang said. "You choose to give in."

"Not this time." I say. "I don't care what you or anyone else says, this was a home to my people, and I will defend it."

"When are they coming?" Aang asked. "We'll fight them off when they get here."

The man opened his mouth to say something, but then there was a knock on the trapdoor in the floor. His gaze turned sad. "They're here."

UHHHHHHHHH! WHY IS THIS SO HARD? I FREAKING GET WRITER'S BLOCK THE SECOND I GET SOME FREE TIME! IS THIS STORY FREAKING CURSED OR SOMETHING?!?!

On a side note, yay I have free time! Sorry for the short chapter, I think the above says it all. What do you think of me giving Kila a friend, hmm? Will she show up later? What was her name again, let me check.. oh yeah, Kiara. And if you're wondering why I told you I forgot her name and stuff I can't tell you. I don't know. I'm tired, my swim team had a lock in and I still haven't recovered. That was the first time I ever stayed up all night.

Anyway, if you're still reading, good for you! If not, your loss (or gain, probably the latter) and for those of you who are still reading, type 'Blueberries' in the comments and I'll update again by Saturday. If not, who know how long it could take me? I might update by then anyways, if I can get rid of this writer's wall/block/thing. But Blueberries for certainty!
