Chapter 29
Rocs POV
I woke up without Cameron in my arms, I looked around and I couldn't find her. I got up and used the bathroom and washed my hands and face then walked towards the living room. Cameron was cooking breakfast and I smiled as I sat on the bar stool across from her. "Morning sleepy head." She said smiling then cracking eggs.
"Morning Cam, what cha cooking?"
"An omelet that has hash brown shreds bacon bits sausage small potatoes and shredded cheddar cheese." My mouth watered as she spoke. "For you, you know where the milk and cereal is."
I held my heart, like I was heart. "That's fucked up Cam."
She giggled "I'm kidding I made you one its in the oven so it won't get cold."
I sighed heavily in relief. "Don't do that to me. Had me scared for a moment." She laughed again as I laughed with her.
She finished cooking and we sat in the living room watching spongebob. When we finished eating we washed our dishes and cleaned the remainder of the house. Then we sat on her bed "Cam?" I asked.
"Wassup?"
" Do you have any siblings?"
"Not that I know of." She answered looking down.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I raised my eyebrow.
"Yeah I have siblings, I just don't know them?" She said as if it was obvious.
"Why? What happened?"
"Our parents weren't for to raise us, so they took us away. Everyone was adopted but me. I don't remember who they are or their names are. I just know I had a brother and I sister." I pulled the picture out of my pocket and handed it to her. "Where did you find this?"
"While I was getting the blanket it fell out."
She turned the picture over. "It says our ages on the back the little baby, 6 months. I'm guessing that's me in the middle, it says I was three. And the boy says he's seven. Then its labled "The Smith Family."
"Have you ever tried to find them?"
"I have once. I had no luck so I stopped trying."
"I think I might know them."
"What?"
"I'm serious I think I know them."
"How?"
"Just come with me." I said as I dragged her out of the bed and threw her some clothes she needs to put on. Then we headed out the door. I called Rayray "Meet me at adris in 5." Then I hung up.
" Who's Ray ray and Adri?" She asked looking nerves.
I grabbed her hand as I drove. "Hold on okay." She nodded and I continued to drive.
We pulled up to Adri house and walked hand in hand to the door. Adri answered. "Heyy Roc," she said hugging me. "Whos this." She said looking at Cameron and smiling.
"This is my very close friend Cameron."
Cameron smiled and shook her hand then she invited us in. There Ray ray and Jazmine sat on the couch. I dapped up Ray and hugged Jazmine. "Is Aleah here?" I asked Adrianna.
"Yeah... ALEAH!!!!!" She yelled
Her and Corey came rushing down. "Yes ma'am?"
"Come sit down." Adrianna said.
Aleah and Corey sat on the love seat. I grabbed the picture and handed it Adrianna to see if she can try to put the pieces together. Her eyes widend as she looked at the picture then them. She pulled me into the kitchen. "Explain please." She whisper yelled.
"I think Cameron Aleah and Ray ray are related."
"How would we know?"
"You're a nurse right?"
"Yeah why?"
"Don't you have little DNA testing things."
"No but I can take them to the hospital and perform a DNA test."
"Alright let's go tell them what's going on." I said as we walked back into the living room. Everyone looked at us. "Okay," I started. "Cameron here has told me about her background, and I know about Ray rays, Aleah do you know anything about yours?" She shook her head no. "That's okay. Based off what I've known I put the pieces together. And I think you guys are realated."
"There's no way I grew up as the only child." Aleah said.
"Because you were adopted." I said trying not to sound rude.
"No I wasn't, people always told me I looked like my mom and that I had my dads nose." She argued.
"Did you're parents have any pictures of you as a new born?" I asked
"What's that have to do with anything?" She asked
"My mom gas pictures of me as a newborn. Corey and Adrianna has pictures of them as newborns. Where are yours?" I asked
She stayed quiet. "Babe maybe he's right. Do you really want the family background you have?" Corey asked. She shook her head no.
"We just need you guys to do DNA tested. Which Adri said she would do."
Everyone packed up in 2 cars and we headed to the Hospital. Adri talked to the lady and they shared a few laughes. "Follow me." Adri said as we stuffed into the elevator and went to the third floor. As we walked through the hospital people stopped Adri and had little conversations with her. We went into a room that said DNA Analyzing on the door we went in and sat down. Adri swabbed inside their mouths and we waited for awhile, she typed on the computer for awhile then the printer started realising pages and she handed them to me. "Look over it tell me if you think they're family."
I looked at the papers. Match match match match match match, it was the same for for awhile until it said N/A then straight match again. Everyone stared at me. "You guys are family." I said but everyone had the same reaction, just a blank face.
"I wanna find my Parents." Aleah said
"How are we gonna do that?" Cameron asked.
"We all have the same last name. Maybe we can track them that way." Ray ray said.
"Hold on, Smith is a common name you guys. We don't know you guys birth place and we don't have you guy's birth certificate. That would be nearly impossible." Adrianna said
"I think my mom as mine." Aleah said
Corey looked at her. "You're not going back there." He said sqeezing her hand.
"Well I have custody of her so maybe I can go get it." Adrianna said with hope in her eyes.
"You just got home. I'm not letting you go over there." Corey said looking at her.
"He's right. You need to calm down Adri." I said. "Well everyone is still in new York so maybe they were born here. Cameron what is the closet hospital from the orphanage?"
"You didn't get adopte?" Ray asked.
She looked a down and played with her hands. "No." She said barely above a whisper.
"Do you know why." He asked.
"I have epilepsy." She said still playing with her fingers.
"What's epilepsy?" He continued
"Its when a person had a series of seizures, meaning its normal for them to have seizures." Adrianna answered.
"Oh." He said hugging her. "Well I'd be glad to catch up with you." She smiled and hugged him back.
"Me to." Aleah said joining in.
I smiled and hugged them to. "Aye back up these aren't you're people, they're mine." Cameron said and I laughed. As I let them have there moment.
