Chapter 38

Adrianna pov

A tear slipped my cheek as I watched my little babies walk into school. Trey wrapped his arms around me "Why are you crying they'll be back in six hours."

"Who am I supposed to cook for, I can't play with them anymore."

"You still have Imani."

I smiled at Imani and kissed her forehead. "Don't ever grow up, Stay 2 forever."

Trey laughed then pecked my lips. "I gotta go to work baby I love you."

"I love you to." I pecked his lips again before he left. "Just me and you baby cakes. Wanna play with Carmen?" Imani shook her head yes. I called Jazmine to come over. While we rode home I bought some ice cream for the little ones. I pulled into the driveway and Jazzy was already waiting for me.

Imani and I got out, she ran to Jazmine. "Nannie Jazzy!!" I smiled as Jazmine picked her up.

I peeked in the car. "Where's my niece?" I said as I picked up Carmen. She rested her head on my chest. I carried her inside and laid her in Imani's bed, soon Imani came and laid down. I went back downstairs and sat next next to Jazmine.

"You took them to school?" She asked.

"Girl yes, and I cried."

She giggled. "You're such a mom."

"Oh hush, how's Carmen doing?"

"She's doing better she called me mommy the other day."

I smiled, "that's really good." The doorbell rang. "I got it."

"Good cause I wasn't getting up."

I glared at Jazmine as I opened the door. I frowned. "Jacob what do you want."

"I'm here to take my kids to school."

"They already went, you were supposed to be here 2 hours ago so you can help them get ready. You broke La'Riahs heart."

"No you told me to be here in 20 minutes."

"I told you that 3 hours ago."

He scratched the back of his head. "I'm sorry."

"You have a baby at home you need to go take care of it." I shut the door and sat back down.

"Why so cold?" Jazmine asked.

"He always does this, he missed they're second and third birthday party. He missed J's first soccer game and Riahs first cheerleading performance. He doesn't come to anything, yet Trey is one of the first people there encouraging the kids making sure they're having a great time. Trey is more of a father then Jacob is, and it's effecting the kids." I sighed.

"Let Trey play the father roll, stop depending on Prince so much. He'll know that you don't need him and then he'll try to be better."

I nodded falling asleep.

¤5 hours later¤

I was woken up by Imani shaking me. "Mama Where's buhbuh?"

I shot up and ran to the car buckling Imani in her car seat. "We're going to go get them baby." I drove to the school and waited for my babies to come out. Once I saw them they ran to me I opened my arms wide, all three ran into my arms. I hugged them tight enjoying they're love. "How was school?" They all spoke at once, I laughed as I buckled them into the car. Aleah grabbed my hand and I looked at her. "What's wrong baby?"

"Why didn't daddy come this morning?"

I kissed her forehead. "Daddy was busy this morning."

"But daddy promised." Her bottom lip poked out.

"How about tomorrow you come wake up Daddy Trey and he'll help you. Will you like that?"

She smlied. "Yes, very much." She shook her head yes. "Gimme kiss mommy!" She puckered her lips. I giggled kissing her small lips. "I wuv you."

"I love you to baby." I closed the door getting into the drivers seat, we went home.

At about 6 o'clock Trey came in with Keyanna. All the kids were in the play room, Key soon joined them. "How was work baby?" I asked flipping the pork chops.

"Nothing new, what ya cooking?"

"Pork Chops, Macoroni, and Broccoli." He licked his lips. "Tomorrow you're gonna help Riah get ready for school."

"Jacobs not coming?"

"Probably not, she wants ypu to."

He smiled. "Okay I will."

"Baby wil you set the table?"

"Yeah." He went to the cabinet and pulled out 2 big plates and 5 little ones, along with spoon and forks. I got cups and set them out.

Once I put food on everyone's plate and cut their pork chops I called everyone down to come eat. We all sat down and talked while eating. "Mommy I'm done."

"Chris you didn't eat your Broccoli."

"You told it's bad to eat trees. Remember a few weeks ago I ate a leave and I told you it was nasty."

"Baby it's not a tree." I said while giggling.

"It looks like a tree." Chris said examining the broccoli with his fork.

"Watch mommy eat it." I put some in my mouth while chewing it. "It's good." He put some in his mouth while chewing it, then he looked at me shaking his head yes while pitting it little thumb up. I giggled putting my plate in the dishwasher. Once the kids were done I gave them baths and put them to bed.

"You won't ever get tired of this will you?" Trey asked as I joined him in bed.

"Tired of what?"

"Being needed, always busy."

I laid on his chest. "I won't get tired of being a mom, I love my kids."

"You know I love that about you." Trey said playing with my hair.

I looked up at him. "What about me."

"A few years ago, you didn't know my kids, Now your raising them as if they're your own, you're helping them become better, you're teaching them manners and what good and bad is. You're helping me to I wouldn't be this successful if it weren't for you. I truly love you Drianna."

I smiled. "I truly love you to Tremaine."
