8 years later
Soooo... this book is coming to an end. I'm thinking maybe ten or less maybe more chapters left then is gonna be done!!
Adrianna &Treys kids start their freshman year today as well as Diggy and Destaneys girl, all except for Imani she's in the 7th grade. But I'm gonna focus on the older kids I'm these last few chapters.
Danielle pov
I was excited to be starting highschool today. I'm gonna meet up with my Boyfriend, Tavian, we've been dating a few years now and we've been doing great. My mom knows about us but Daddy doesn't, I don't feel like hearing his mouth about how I'm to young to date and how boys are no good he says, 'I know that cause I used to be one myself.' All I want is for him to trust me. Mom dropped me off as school today, I got out and met with Maria we've been friends since 3rd grade.
"Where's your boo?" She asked as we picked up our schedule.
"I don't know, he hasn't texted me back yet."
"You guys are for real goals, what's your first hour?"
"Algebra 2."
"Yo smart ass I got English. There go ya boo, I'll see you later."
I waved bye as she walked off. "Wassup Dani?"
"Hey Jarod, hi baby." Tavian grabbed my hand and we started walking with Jarod which was his best friend.
"Where's your first class?" Tavian asked me looking around.
"Math hallway."
"Alright I'll take you there."
"What do you have first hour?"
"English."
"So does Maria maybe you guys will have the same class." I looked up at him and saw annoyance in his face.
"Yeah, maybe."
"Why don't you like her?" I asked sighing.
"She's annoying as fuck, I don't see how you can."
"Aye, she fine as fuck though." Jarod said.
I rolled my eyes. "I'll see you later." I turned to go to class but my arm was pulled back. "What is it?" I asked looking up at Tavian.
"Imma need you to quit Trippin and give me a kiss."
I tried to contain my smile. "No, you can go to class though."
He cupped my face and placed his lips on mine. "Love you."
I smiled. "Mhm go to class."
Tavian told me that he loved me on my birthday last year I told him I'm glad he does but I don't think we're that far he said it was fine, I agreed I'd tell him when the feeling was mutual. He was fine with it and I have yet to tell him.
La'Riah pov
"Ewww you like my brother?" I looked over at Nicole as we walked to school, her Junior high was right next tothe high school.
"Maybe, he's so cute. And he's nice and he's just him." She said with googly eyes.
I scrunched my face up. "That's disgusting. But do you hun, do you."
"Oh stop acting like that."
"I'm not acting, I'm truly disgusted." I said scrunching my face up again. "He's so immature and he's dumb in so many ways."
"I like his dumbness , he seems like he's not afraid to be himself."
I rolled my eyes. "Mhm... see you after school."
"Okay." We went our separate ways and I headed to freshman P.E.
"Wassup Riah." Anthony had said as soon as I stepped into the gym.
"Hey Anthony." I said smirking as I sat by him. "How's your sister doing?"
"She's not getting better but I don't wanna talk about that."
Anthony's sister was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. He doesn't ever talk about her but I know it's hurting him inside. I try to get him to open up to me since I'm the only one that knows But he won't and it's not my place to force him.
I know what you're thinking and he's not my boyfriend, we're just friends have been for awhile.
"Well what do you want to talk about?" I asked trying to keep our conversation going.
"Homecoming dance is coming up." He brought up which he has been talking all summer.
I smiled. "I know. You ask anyone yet?"
"Nah but I got someone in mind."
"So who's the lucky girl? She pretty, smart, is she funnu? Do I know her."
"She's beautiful, I hope she smart and she's always making me smile and laugh so I guess so. Can you help me ask her? I know she likes some things so I want to be big when I ask her so it'll seem like she's a bad person if she says no."
I laughed. "Of course I'll help you."
"And yeah, you know her." He leaned back on the bleachers smirking.
I shook my head and smiled again.
"Is she my friend?"
"Ion know, I don't really know a lot about her just some simple things."
Chris pov
"Tenisha!!" I jogged up to her.
"Hey Chris, I missed you!!" She said giving me a hug.
"I missed you to, we could've been chillen the whole summer but you had to go visit your brother."
"Oh hush, I'm here now."
"What'd you do all summer?"
"Chilled with my brother." She said smirking.
"Don't talk to me anymore." I said walking faster.
"Chrriiiiisssss." She whined
I smirked and stayed quiet.
"Chris stooooooop."
I continued walking not saying a word. She got infront of me and started to pout. "Quit doing that, I don't like the silent treatment."
"If you weren't so cute I'd keep going but I can't stay mad at you."
She smiled. "Good, wanna hangout after school?"
"I'm down let's go to the mall homecoming is coming up."
"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked smiling.
"You gonna come with me?" She nodded. "Good but this ain't how I really wanna ask you in a better way."
"Okay, but don't spend money on me you know I hate that."
"I know, I'll see you after school alright?"
"Okay, byee."
"Bye." I pulled her into a hug before I left down the hallway.
