[Name] couldn't believe it-- she was going on a date with Kaneki Ken. The shy, but charming, book-worm who only had a single friend. Thinking about it made her heart speed up and her cheeks burn red. But there was one peculiar thing about him-- his eyepatch. She wondered why he wore it.
Maybe it's just in my head...
Sighing as she rubbed the temples on the sides of her head. Most of the recent events were just too much to take in. Especially when suddenly, a voice that chilled [Name]'s neck whispered in her ear. "Having fun with Eyepatch, moi?" It asked, and she glared at the owner. "Tsukiyama Shuu... go away. I don't want you here," the female growled, waving him away. But he did not oblige, sitting across from her st the stone table on the outside courtyard.
"But he's cute, is he not? And he loves Takatsuki Sen, same as you!" The "Gourmet" cheered. It seemed that he even had a fanboy side, already having his weird illusions. "But steer careful-- I might take him to the restaurant~" Tsukiyama cooed. Goosebumps arised on [Name]'s skin, and before protesting, he had already walked off. "Tsukiyama..." hissed quietly, she gritted her teeth.
Why was the "Gourmet" suddenly interested in a human? Of course, he loved inviting interesting people so he could taste them, but why was Kaneki his target? Narrowing her eyes, [Name] stared off into the clouded sky.
What if he is the new ghoul scampering around? What if Kaneki is...
The one-eyed ghoul, "Eyepatch"?
In almost an instant, the (e/c) eyed girl shook her head. There was no possible way that Kaneki was the newest ghoul around. Even if the eyepatch was very suspicious, she refused to believe it. Sighing, [Name] gripped her fists, the cold chilling through her jacket. "I better get going..."

After classes ended, [Name] secretly headed over to Anteiku, sneaking into the back. There, she met Touka, who handed her a small package. The mission was simple-- in and out. Once the package was delivered, she quickly left, heading down the streets. The carefully wrapped item was gently placed into her satchel so it wouldn't be seen.
While walking, [Name] happened to bump into Kaneki, which made him lighten up. "Ah, [Name]-Chan! There was a place recommended for out first date!" He exclaimed, making her a tad nervous. Before she could protest, he already had a firm grip on her wrist. It seemed the male was too excited, for his grip became tight and his running uneasy.
"K-Kaneki-kun, calm down!" The female shouted, and they suddenly stopped. His black hair fell into his face as he panted out, "W-we're here!" Looking up, [Name] noticed that the front appeared very shabby and broken. Again, before she could speak, he started, "Don't worry, I'm sure the inside looks fine!" Kaneki's attitude slightly worried her... it seemed he was just excited to be with her.
But for some reason, the feeling didn't seem right for [Name]. Her heart wasn't pounding with joy or nervousness-- it was normal. Maybe because Kaneki was acting different, suddenly pulling into the entrance. There waited some men, who gladly took an envelop from Kaneki and showed the way. As they walked, the male seemed nervous, and he scratched his head, mumbling, "I guess I should've talked with him more..."
Wondering who "him" is, [Name] raised an eyebrow, then looked around. The hallways were also terrible looking, each and every window barricaded. When they made it to a waiting room, no one was there, and they were shown to shower rooms. Obviously, they had separate shower rooms, one for each individual. While washing, a certain female was wondering why they must take a shower first.
It didn't seem right, but maybe it was because they prefered top quality. When she finally finished, [Name] was offered a long, scarlet dress. The servants gasped when she refused it, and she explained that her school uniform would be fine. Groaning a bit, they handed her the uniform, which had been cleaned. [Name] walked back into the waiting room, noticing two other people.
One was a decent man, maybe a bit larger than average, and looked excited. The other one, although, looked like a fat pig, and her face even matched. Glancing around, [Name] noticed Kaneki, who now wore a black suit, and his eyepatch was gone. She walked over, looking closely, then walked away, leaving him confused.
There was no injury... maybe it's some sort of fashion.
Or maybe he is the one-eye.
Hearing the voice, [Name] shook herself off, trying to relax. It had been awhile since she had heard... that voice. Shivering, a waiter suddenly walked in, saying it was time. They all followed him, wherever he was taking them. Of course, a certain ghoul wasn't so excited about this.
Her gaze landed on Kaneki, who suddenly seemed nervous. It seemed that he realized that taking her here was a mistake. "So, Kaneki-kun," [Name] began, "who invited yo- us?" Tapping his fingers together, Kaneki stared the other way, mumbling, "A f-friend..." A blinding light suddenly shone in their faces, and the waiter disappeared as they stepped in.
Looking around, there wasn't a table or chairs for them to dine at, only open space. [Name] instantly looked up, seeing a large group of people. In an instant, she realized the familiar place- the restaurant where the customers don't return. And there was only one person who could own that place...
"Bonjour, boujour, and welcome! This..." The man who had suddenly started speaking spread his arms out. "IS TONIGHT'S DINNER!!!!" The small group of people looked around, confused. Well, except for [Name], who was glaring right at the announcer.
"GOURMET!!!" She screamed, her voice echoing off the walls. Everyone looked at her, including the man, who was actually Tsukiyama behind a mask. There were mumbles from the crowd, but the noise of loud feet banging could be heard. Turning around, they saw the large, pig-like monster. Eyes wide, [Name] stepped back, along with the others.
Ken also looked nervous, shaking in his suit and backing further than all of them. "I-I know what this is! It's one of those entertainment restaurants, where we're part of the show!" The man from before stammered out. The monster walked over, grabbing him and swinging him around.
As he was tossed like a fruit salad, he said, "This seems so real-" Before finishing, the man was thrown into the concrete, a loud crack could be heard through the room. His body fell limp, and it was obvious-- he was dead.

Shorter chapter, meh. You'll live with it.
Damn, I skipped a lot. Oh well, action is rising. If you're still wondering about your ghoul self, be patient. I mean, how else would you know Tsukiyama?
Nice first date. I hope you enjoyed it.
