Emma unlocked the door to her apartment and walked in, kicking off her heels, that were killing her feet when she closed the door. She walked to the kitchen and from a white bag took a chocolate cupcake with cream icing. She lit a candle and stuck it in the cupcake.
She leaned her arms on the counter and rested her chin on top.
"Another banner year." she said to herself, staring at the flame burning.
She closed her eyes and blew the flame out.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Emma opened her eyes quickly. And after a few seconds stood up and walked to the door.
When she opened the door, a boy stood in the hallway.
"Um...." Emma said, confused. "Can I help you?"
"Are you Emma Swan?" the boy asked.
"Yeah. Who are you?" she said.
"My name is Henry. I'm your son." he said, smiling friendly.
Emma stared at the boy, confused. Then he slipped under her arm and stepped into her apartment.
"Whoa! Hey, kid? Kid? Kid?" said Emma following the boy. "I don't have a son. Where are your parents?"
"Ten years ago, did you give up a baby for adoption?" said Henry staring at Emma.
Emma looked at the boy, her heart rate increasing.
"That was me." he said.
"Give me a minute." said Emma turning and stepping into her bathroom and closing the door behind her. She stood in the bathroom leaning against the door, breathing heavily.
"You have any juice?" said Henry in the kitchen.
Emma didn't reply.
"Never mind. Found some." he said.
After a minute or two Emma left the bathroom and went back into the kitchen to find Henry sitting at the counter, drinking a bottle of orange juice.
"We should probably get going." said Henry.
"Going where?" said Emma folding her arms.
"I want you to come home with me." he said.
"Okay, kid. I'm calling the cops." Emma said walking accross the room.
"Then I'll tell them you kidnapped me." said Henry.
Emma picked up her phone. "They'll believe you because I am your birthmother." said Emma.
"Yep." said Henry.
"You're not going to do that." said Emma.
"Try me." he said.
"You're pretty good. But here's the thing. There's not a lot that I'm great at in life. I have one skill. Let's call it a superpower. I can tell when anyone is lying. And you, kid......are." she said dialing a few numbers on the phone.
"Wait." said Henry. "Please don't call the cops. Please. Come home with me."
"Where's home?" said Emma.
"Storybrook, Maine." he said.
"Storybrook?...... Seriously?" she said.
"Mmm-hmm." he said nodding his head.
"All righty then." she said. "Let's get you back to Storybrook."

Snow stood by the open balcony, listening to the blue birds sing.
"What's wrong?" said Charming walking over to her.
"Nothing." she said petting the big bump on her stomach.
"You're thinking about what the queen said again, aren't you?" he said. "Snow, please. I can't keep having this conversation. You have to let it go. We're about to have a baby."
"I haven't had a restful night since our wedding." said Snow walking inside.
"That's what she wants. To get in your head. But they are only words, she can't hurt us.
"She poisoned an apple because she thought I was prettier than her. You have no idea what she's capable." said Snow.
Charming sighed. "What can I do to ease your mind?" he said.
"Let me talk....to him." she said looking up at Charming.
"Him." said Charming. "You don't mean...." he started.
"I do." said Snow.
"No! It's too dangerous." said Charming, shaking his head.
"He sees the future." she said.
"There is a reason he's locked up." he said.
"Can you promise me that our child will be safe?" said Snow. "Can you guarantee it? Because he can." said Snow, grasping Charming's hand with hers.
"Alright." said Charming after a minute. "For our child."

Emma and Henry sat in the car. Henry looked at Emma, but when she noticed and turned to look at him he turned to look out the window.
"I'm hungry. You wanna stop somewhere?" said Henry.
"This is not a roadtrip. We're not stopping for snacks." said Emma. "Why not?" said Henry.
"Quit complaining, kid. Remember, I could have put your butt on a bus. Still could." she said.
"You know I have a name. It's Henry." he said pulling out his fairytale book from his rug-sack and rested it, open on his lap.
Emma looked over at him, seeing the book. "What's that?" she said.
"I'm not sure your ready." he said.
"Ready for some fairytales?" she said.
"They're not fairytales." he said. "They're true. Every story in this book actually happened."
"Of course they did." she said.
"Use your superpower, see if I am lying." he said.
Emma took her eyes off the road and looked at him. "Just because you believe something doesn't make it true." she said.
"Thats exactly what makes it true." he said. "You should know more than anyone."
"Why is that?" said Emma.
"Because your in this book." he said.
"Oh, kid, you've got problems." said Emma.
"Yup, and your gonna fix them." he said.
