Chapter 11; Halloween Party and Sexy Dancing

I was supposed to upload this yesterday for Halloween but I didn't finish it in time but I hope you all enjoy this chapter.

It was now Monday morning and I was standing in front of my school gates when I was engulfed in a tight hug by someone with long blonde hair.

"I heard what happened at the party, I'm so sorry, guys can be such dooshbags at times." Alexis muffled as she was still hugging me. "I was going to call to see if you were okay but then I realised I didn't have your number or even know where you lived."

Feeling a bit uncomfortable by the hug I slowly pried her hands off me, trying not to seem rude " How do you know about Friday? Don't tell me everyone in the school knows?"

"No no it was my cousins party that I was supposed to go to but something came up. She was telling me how this British girl almost drowned. I had a strong feeling it was you with the way she described your appearance." Alexis explained to me.

I nodded my head in understanding and decided to hug her for the fact that she seemed really concerned about me. Even though we've just met, Alexis is proving to be a good friend.

After our little moment we both entered school together and walked to each others lockers.

When we got to our lockers I couldn't help but think about Leo. Since Friday when I Seth told me it was him who saved me from drowning I couldn't get him out of my head. All throughout that day I kept over analysing it.

You really need to stop thinking about him. It's not like he would have let you drown and die. He probably would have done it for anyone else.

The smart side of my brain said to me.

All this time I was talking to myself in my head, I hadn't realised that Alexis was saying something. I was able to catch on to the last thing she said.

"...So will you come with me?"

"Erm come with you where again?" I asked confused.

"You where daydreaming weren't you?" I nodded my head in embarrassment to her question that seemed more like a statement. "Since it's Halloween today, there's this party tonight being held by this kid called Darren and I was wondering if you would come with me. I understand if you can't because of what happened." She said in a hopeful voice.

"Would you believe me if I told you that I have completely forgotten that it is Halloween today." She gasped in shock when I said this. " I don't think I'd be allowed to go. My mum is really superstitious and doesn't allow me to celebrate or go out on Halloween. Sorry."

Alexis nodded her head in understanding. The bell decided to go after that so we both said our goodbyes and made our ways to our first class.

My first lesson of the day was Art. It was one of the subjects I chose myself as I love to draw.

The classroom was set out so two students share one desk. I was correctly sitting at a desk by myself again like last week as my teacher, Miss Rue, explained to us how to mix the paint correctly to get the right colours.

Just as she was about to hand out our canvases that we started on last week someone abruptly walked into the classroom really late. I looked up to see that it was one of the twins who seemed to have rushed getting changed as his hair was all over the place and his shirt wasn't buttoned up correctly.
