Eight - Part 1; Our Very Own Car Musical

I can't believe I have over 600 reads!! I know it might not seem like a lot but I never expected to even get over a 100 reads. My goal is to get to 1k reads by the time I've uploaded chapter 9 but am gonna need you guys help to promote my book. Thank you for all your support.

And this chapter might be kind of boring cause it just a fill in for the next one. So sorry if it made you want to sleep.

The sound of gunshots pierced through the air around me as I ran like my life depended on it.

If it wasn't for Leonardo's hand pulling me to run faster and supporting my balance, I would have been dead by now. The thought put an uncomfortable shiver down my spine.

I so badly wanted to blame them for putting me in this situation but deep down I knew I was the one who got myself into this mess.

Only if I could go back in time and made up an excuse on why I couldn't go to Benny's.

An hour before....

I've been in a caravan from London to Scotland with three of my annoying cousins who are under five and I've been cramped on a bus with loads of smelly people. But nothing and I repeat nothing could prepare me for the car ride am in right now.

Never in my life did I think I was going to be stuck in a car with gang members. It just shows how much life can surprise you.

I still don't know who Benny is but I just hope it's not someone mixed in with all this illegal stuff because I don't think I have it in me to meet another gang member or my head might just burst.

"This silence is really annoying me." Seth stated finally breaking the quietness with his voice. Then he leaned forward from his seat and turned on the radio.

Straight away one of my favourite songs; Classic by MKTO started to playing through the speakers of the car.

"Hey where the drums?" Vincent sang at the same time of the music.

Then beside me Caleb said "Let's go!"

"Ooh girl you shining, like a fifth avenue diamond." Seth started to sing horribly.

If it wasn't for their terrible voices I think I would have thought I stepped into a musical. I so badly wanted to join them but I was too shy to do so. So I ended up laughing as they sang and did some really strange dance moves.

Leonardo was the only one out of the boys not joining in, instead he looked like he was going to jump out the car any minute from now. Who could blame him though Vincent, Seth and Caleb sounded like dying cats.

Without realising, my foot began to tap to the beat of the song and before I could stop myself I started to sing along.

When the song finally finished, that's when I realised the car had stopped moving. And four shocked faces were staring at me intensely. A blush slowly crept its way on my cheeks when I realised that they all heard me sing.

Vincent was the first one to break the silence by clapping and soon after that Caleb and Seth joined in. The sound of the car door opening caught my attention and that's when I saw Leonardo getting out of the door, looking aggravated.

Strangely, him getting out of the car like that kind of hurt my feelings but I didn't let it show on my face. His nothing to me so why should I be effected by his cold demeanour.

"We should probably go outside now before Leo gets even more impatient and we know how he is." Vincent said with a sigh as he got out of the drivers seat.

Then me, Seth and Caleb followed suit. When we got out Caleb whispered in my ear "Just ignore Leo his a grumpy ass and your voice is amazing."

"Thanks." I replied shyly as no one before has ever heard me sing except for my mum.

We were making our way to a cute little diner with the sign 'Benny's' written on the building in flashy writing. It resembled a retro dinner which had a modern twist to it, I was awe at the sight. I was too busy staring at the building that I didn't realise where I was walking and immedietely smashed into someone back.

Like usual luck is never on my side as the person I bashed into was no other than Leo-frickin-nardo.

Yeah I know it's kind of short but like I said it's a filling chapter.

There should be more action in the next chapter and am hopping to uploade it soon so fingers crossed.

By the way this chapter hasn't been edited so sorry for any mistakes.
