Ms. Barns was saying something but I just could not concentrate. I hate to be rude but she is honestly the most boring teacher ever. Cade runs my arm a bit trying to get me to keep still. I was having trouble since I had gotten no sleep last night what so ever. Every time my eyes started to droop I would be bombarded with nightmares. Cade on the other hand slept like a hibernating bear while holding me all night in a armored grip. Mentally I don't know where I stand anymore. But I knew I was in pain, it was just numb because I've numbed it for so long anyways. This time I felt it a little more though. I exhale still fidgety and I settle with tapping my foot and Cade stares at it probably wanting to stop me but knows it's helping me stay calm. He hated little things like that. I try to stay focused on ms.barns again but i still was having trouble processing what she was saying. My mind was protecting itself and I didn't really notice anything but Cade. A shrieking sound fills my ears and automatically everyone's heads flip up. It wasn't the end of the period but he bell was going off.
"Everyone stay in your seats there has been a bell malfunction, everyone stay quiet so I can continue with the lesson."
Ms.barns yells over the bell and as soon as she finishes the bell stops. She turns towards the board and lifts up her dry erase marker but doesn't even touch the board before the bell goes off again. Cade tenses before cursing and pulling me out of my seat. His hand grips mine as he rushes me out the door.
As soon as the door closes behind us I put on my brakes digging my feet into the ground. I don't know why he was pulling me out of class but my attendance has been awful.
"Cade I'm not ditching school again, this is the second time this month."
Cade's head while back at me with an angered expression.
"Don't fight with me right now."
I nod my head a little alarmed as Cade drags me to the doors.
"Alright baby when we get outside I need you to stay calm and stay right behind me."
"Ok"
I was slightly alarmed at how he was acting it was odd. Slowly Cade pushes open the door and I stay right behind him clinging onto his shirt. He stops suddenly and I run straight into his back.
"You really are an idiot aren't you"
Confused I open my mouth to answer but someone else beat me to it.
"No I'm quite smart actually"
I hear Cade make a little clicking sound with his tongue before he chuckles to himself.
"I was really hoping not to kill someone on a school campus, I don't think it will look good on my resume"
Cade's voice was mocking but his words scared me. I watch Cade's hand come to the side of his black jeans. Slowly he lifts his shirt his hand enclosing around the guns handle. He glides is out from his side swiftly and he twirls it around his finger like he has no care in the world. I look behind me scanning the school walls for a camera. Nothing. I would've thought cameras would have been put out. I stiffen when I hear a gun load.
"I guess I can mark killing someone at school off my bucket list"
A gunshot rang and Cade doesn't waste moment before pulling out his phone. He whispers incomprehensible words but I was able to make out clean up the body leave no evidence. I pull my hands from Cade's shirt and slowly back away from him.

He just killed someone.

Cade just killed someone.

As I back away Cade growls before hanging up the phone and turning to me.
"Don't walk away from me"
I stare at him debating whether to make him angry or walk towards him. I keep my distance when I realize Cade still had the gun in his left hand. Of course this made him angry as he struts forward. He wraps his arm around my waist before slamming my body to his. I continue to watch his left hand and slowly he tucks the gun back into his side. I still am trying to process that Cade killed someone. I turn my head to look at the person whose life was stolen. Before I can see any part of him Cade had his fingers wrapping around my face forcing me to look at him. I whimper a bit when I see how angry he is.
"Yes I just f*cken killed someone"
I take a deep breath and try struggling to get out of his grip. I put prices together and realize Cade really is in a leader of a dangerous gang.
"I guess we're doing things the hard way."
I'm thrown I've Cade's shoulder and we start walking probably to Cade's bike. He sits me down in front of his and he swings his leg over while starting the bike up. I lean into his and close my eyes once he starts to drive.
++++
We'd been driving for a few short minutes. It was easy to figure out how angry Cade was. His body was producing an angry aura and I was right in the middle of it. When we arrive back at Cade's house he pulls me off the bike by my bicep digging his fingers into my arm. The door slams behind me and I'm whipped around.
"Don't you ever f*cken walk away from me "
I nod my head watching my arm as Cade's grip starts to cut off the circulation. Roughly he yanks my chin to face him.
"When I talking to you that mean all of your attention should be on me. "
"Yes Cade"
I knew better than to argue in these times. It was always better to hold your tongue with Cade because he is always the one in charge.
"....talking to you do you need a punishment so you can remember all the rules cause I'm down for tying you down and f*cking you so hard you can't walk for a week."
I shake my head keeping eye contact with him so he will calm down. A small whimper escapes my lips as my arm starts to become numb. Cade drops my arm and growls before he drags me up stairs.

Cade plays dangerous game that he always wins and right now I broke the rules of his game and I was going to pay for it.
