When we get back to the hotel, we dash up the steps and into our room. I tear through my suitcase and pull out my pink suit with glittery accents. Then, I sneak past Ann and Maggie, and jump into the bathroom. I close the door and lock it. Quickly, I change into my suit and then let the next person change. I sit next to the bed with my towel and have Jennifer braid my hair. When everyone is ready, we say goodbye to Jennifer and head to the pool. I skip down the hall in front of Ann. Maggie skips with me.

When we arrive at the pool, I see that someone already occupies it. "Oh well, who ever it is can share with us." I think. Maggie pushes open the door and the person turns. I let out a little gasp; I smile as the person gets out of the pool and walks towards me.

"Jordan!?" I say as he walks towards me.

"Hey, Chelsea." He greets me. I follow my friends to a couple of chairs and lay down my towel. Apparently Jordan follows me because I receive a wide eyed look from Ann.

"Oh, yeah, right. She doesn't know Jordan yet." I think. Then, I take a breath and formally introduce him to Anna and Maggie, "Guys, this is Jordan. He caught me yesterday when I fell out of the taxi. Luckily he did or I might be in the hospital like Ann was. Jordan, this is Maggie and Ann, two of my friends." I say as I gesture to them, "So, what are you doing here?"

"Well, I'm here to see you. Kind of. My friends, Steven and Sean, work here, so I'm here hanging out a lot." He explains sweetly. He, also, receives wide eyed stares from Maggie and Ann. They think he's cute too! I can just tell!

I look around the room for a clock. I find one and it read 5pm. The pool closes at nine so we can swim for four hours.

I turn on Maggie, grab Ann's hand and pull her into the pool. Maggie jumps in after us. She is followed by Jordan. Later, around 7:30, another person enters the pool area. Jordan calls out, "Hey, Colin! Come on in!" Colin, I assume he's a worker, sets his stuff down and jumps in.

We all swim around, splash each other, have jumping contests, and swimming races until 8:30. I beat everyone in the swimming races, even Jordan. We climb out of the pool and step down into the hot tube. Eventually, I ask him if he plays any sports. He answers with, "Uh, yeah, isn't it obvious? No, just kidding. I play football at my school, so yeah."

We all hang out in the hot tub for twenty minutes before we climb out and dry off. Together walk towards the lobby, still wrapped in our towels. The girls and I head to the elevator and Jordan walks towards the front door. Both Maggie and Ann say goodbye but all I can manage to do is stand here, dripping wet, waving. Just then, elevator bell dings and I walk in as soon as the doors slide open. Just before the doors close, I see Jordan looking at us, waiting for the elevator to close. I wave one more time. The gap between the two doors slides closed and we ride up in silence. Surprising silence. No questions, giddy comments or smart remarks.

Arriving at our room, Ann pulls out a key and unlocks the door. The lights are off and Jennifer is already asleep on one of the beds. We quickly take turns in the shower and then head to bed. I unbraid my hair and brush it out. I pull on my sweats and an old tee shirt. Ann decides to climb in with Jennifer, then Maggie and I decide to share the other bed. After a long day, filled with shopping and swimming, I fall asleep and into a dreamland; and a certain person appears in my dreams, more than once, throughout the long night.

~Morning~

I'm woken up by the sound of Maggie rummaging through her bags. I roll over and look at her, with a sarcastic look plastered across my groggy face. I sit up and pull my long hair into a messy bun on top of my head. Clumsily, I fumble for my glasses, which are on the side table. I stick them on my face, I push the blankets off and step onto the thick carpet. I pull out a pair of socks then slide them on my feet. Next, I pull out my Converse and put them on. By now my friends are all ready to go to breakfast. I always take the longest to get ready. Without saying a word, I follow them out the door. When we are downstairs in the lobby, we make breakfast at the little breakfast bar. I start at the pancake machine, but I can't get it to work. I probably broke it. I break everything.

I just head over to the drink station. There are so many choices but, eventually, I just go for my daily morning drink. Coffee. I pour a cup and tear open a hot chocolate packet and dump half of its contents in my coffee. Grabbing a stir stick, I mix the cocoa powder in. To top off my drink I drop in two packets of creamer.

My friends have already sat down so I go over to their table and join them. Jennifer is up getting something so I sit and wrap my hands around my cup, leaching the warmth from it.
When Jennifer returns the conversations begin.

"So... What are we going to do today?" Maggie asks innocently.

A suggestion pops out of Ann, "How about we just look at the scenery?"

This makes a idea form in my head. But, I don't say anything. I just smile inwardly.

"And take pictures? I brought my camera along too: I'll try try not to slow you guys down again." Jennifer promises.

I let out a little chuckle, "Yeah, maybe we could make a scrapbook or something when we get back home." I say sarcastically.

The others all agree about our plans for today. I stand up grab my coffee, and head back to the room to finish getting ready.
