Our previous endeavor had bloomed into a wonderful relationship between Alan and myself. I would come over to his and cook or he would come over to my new motel room that I was lucky enough to get because of the separate bank account I made three years ago just in case something happened, so I definitely had enough money. We are both very busy with work but we still were able to fit in time for each other.

There was harmless flirting naturally but we always made sure that we gave each other space. I honestly believe we are both afraid "it's" going to happen again. I wouldn't mind but I'd rather go on a proper date this time around.

"So I was filming today. And Rima just happened to be there. To "support me," Alan furrowed his perfect eyebrows at me. Simultaneously we both rolled our eyes.

Isnt it funny how two strangers can become so attached over something as simple as drunk sex?

"Did she say anything? I thought she was in Canada or something?" I questioned while stabbing into a chunk of orange chicken. Tonight we ordered in at some Chinese restaurant that was a few blocks away from my motel room

"She said absolutely nothing to me, not a damn single word! Enough about her, how was your day?" Alan generously changed the subject. We both were sitting in my motels living room, stuffed onto my small couch.

"Alright, well Robert finally signed the divorce papers and sent them in. Only one week till I'm a free woman." I sighed sadly. It was hard to believe that ten years of marriage was wasted.

"What a bastard... You're lucky that the lawyers were quick!" Alan admitted. He unbuckled his belt because of his full stomach. He shoved his food on the coffee table away from him and leant back into the couch.

"Yeah... I suppose." I smiled. He always knew how to make me see the bright side of things.

"Rima was a total... For lack of words, a bitch. You are such a wonderful man that can make me see the bright side of any situation!" I laughed and Alan gave me one of his heart filled smiles. This was like a support group for the both of us.

"Thanks Hudson, however I am nothing compared to a woman that can tolerate being around a old man, who she accidentally slept with," Alan pointed out.

"Shut it Mr. Rickman before I get up and molest you," I threatened and then pushed my food away and I automatically leaned back into his shoulder. "And mind you i'm only a few years younger than you!"

"Two amazing people. Left to defend the world by themselves, who were left heartbroken and bored. Speaking of what's your plan for next weekend?" Alan asked. He crossed his arms making his sleeves wrinkle. He was wearing the most enticing shirt I've ever seen. A collarless white long sleeve shirt hung off him, his grey trousers bunched up because of the position he was in. He had kicked his shoes off when he came in, leaving him in grey wooly socks. I must admit Alan probably has a better fashion sense than I do!

"I like your socks, and nothing. I was going to call my mom and try an get on her good side again but I can do that anytime, what'd you have in mind?" I blinked and couldn't believe my own mother took my ex-husband's side, she picked her son-in-law over her only daughter.

"Thank you they are very warm. Well I'm having a small pool party at my house." Alan said awkwardly. You see Alan had finally became accustomed to my random comments and every time he acknowledged my randomness my heart would beat slightly faster.

"Never thought I'd hear Severus Snape say pool and party in the same sentence," I chuckled and slapped the side of his leg.

"Ms. Greyhound-watch it!" He said sternly. I started to crack up. Once I was done dying with laughter I looked up and he had the most pleasing look on his face.

"What day is this party?" I asked randomly.

"Um I believe April 15," He answered.

Wait April? Oh my god...

We slept together February 27th. And it is already April?

I turned a deadly shade of white.

"Alan I need you to take me to a drugstore." I said very slowly. He nodded very confused and was going to ask a simple "why" but the look on my face showed the importance of this errand. He grabbed my car keys off the countertop and lead me down the hallway to the elevator. The ride to the nearest drug store was silent. He kept looking at me wondering what was passing through my mind but never asked being the gentleman he is.

We arrived and I practically jumped out and ran into the store. I probably looked like a lunatic in my sweatpants and hoodie. I ran back to the last aisle and grabbed what I needed, I then went up to the counter paid, at this time Alan was just about to open the door to the drug store.

I ran to the restroom and locked the door after me. I then took the test out of its packaging, and followed the instructions.

Alan was standing outside the door asking me what was going on. Literally within twenty minutes I had went from being in my cozy living room to being in a cold drug store taking a pregnancy test and wondering how I didn't notice that I haven't had my period in two months...

I took the test then unlocked the door letting Alan burst in. Looking very confused. His hair was disheveled to a high extent.

He saw the test in my hands and looked from me to me hands repeatedly.

"So?" Alan sputtered. Of course Alan had figured it out.

"Wait three minutes with me," I said while patting the cold, white tiles beside me.

We sat down on the cold tile flooring. I grabbed onto Alan's hand. He looked at me with seriousness and nodded making me feel very reassured. He kissed my temple and whispered sweet words.

The three minutes went slowly. All of a sudden the pregnancy test stick turned into a little pink plus sign. We both gulped very loudly.

The door opened of the bathroom and a elderly woman started to come in.

"Get Out!" Alan and I shouted and pointed out.

The woman huffed and left without a word.

"Now what?" I started to cry. I had never wanted children but now that I am pregnant... I think I may be reconsidering.

"Hudson... We are..." Alan stuttered and started to run his hands through his hair. He got up and started to pace back and forth.

I stood and crossed my arms while staring at my stomach. There is a human being inside of me.

I smiled.

Alan stopped and looking at me. I started to laugh. Very hard.

"Hudson? You are pregnant what the hell are you laughing at?!" Alan said loudly making his voice echo around the walls. It scared me at first but then my brilliant brain went back to being weirdly happy.

"We both have... So... Much.. Bad Luck." I said in-between laughs. Alan quickly grew a lopsided grin.

Soon we were both laughed like maniacs. I ran up to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me and rocked me in a circle me. I could smell his sweet cologne on him and it instantly made me wish that he was truly mine.

We stopped rocking and grasped each other's hands and walked out of the restroom. The old lady was waiting outside looked pissed off. I had tears streaming down my face still but a grin plastered to my face, same with Alan. We went out and got into my car and sat there looking at each other.

"Boy or Girl?" I asked him.

"Both," He laughed.

I'm having a baby with my best friend.
