Before Alan could say another word I was already at the side door. I grabbed my Volkswagon Bug keys and stormed out into the poorly lit street. Instantly I fought the urge to turn around and go back in but I knew I couldn't. He loves me... But when you truly love a person you don't "cheat" on them no matter the circumstance. My bug beeped in excitement as the doors unlocked. Soon I was inside and zipping down the street away from Alan's house.
"Ugh, Why does everything have to be so complicated?" I sighed in exasperation. As I stopped at the next red light my phone began to rapidly vibrate. His profile picture flashed in the cup holder. His photo on my iPhone was taken about two weeks ago while we were rendezvousing at his house.
Flashback
"HUDSON COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!" Alan shouted from the other side of the house. It was quite silly that two grown adults were playing hide-n-seek but being together made us feel so young.
I giggled and shoved myself further into his closet. Every so often I would hear his footsteps up stairs or in the hallways. Surprisingly after about five minutes I became increasingly bored so began to go through some of the boxes shoved in the corner. The first box held a baseball glove, a picture of him accepting his first award and a rather large stuffed rhino. Why did Alan Rickman have a stuffed rhino? I chuckled to myself and continued to go through the boxes in the dark. As time passed the light shining in from his bedroom began to dim and I had to use my phone for light.
And that's when I found it. A box only full of photos, most were of him and his family but the further I dug the younger Alan became. By the time I was at the bottom of the box I was looking at his baby pictures. He was such a cute baby! I quickly took a photo of the picture and sent it to him. If he doesn't figure out where I am now hes never going too.
I could hear his photo ring from the kitchen. My smile grew as I heard his footsteps echo down the wooden hallway. The closet door flew open and the lights switched on.
"I'm down here." I laughed. Alan stood in front of me moving clothes until he could see the top of my head.
"Have you been here the whole time?" Alans brow furrowed. He kneeled down with me and plucked the photo from my hands. Once his eyes examined what I was looking at he began to chuckle.
"Can you help me out of here?" I squeaked.
"Of course love." Alan grinned and offered me a hand. I grabbed his calloused hand and allowed him to pull me up into his arms.
Flashback Over
About two days after this I changed his contact photo to his baby photo. The light turned green and just as I began to pull out I felt a impact on my right side. I gasped. Lights became blurry. Darkness.
.......
Where am I? I tried to open my eyes but I simply couldn't. Internally I sighed.
"Hudson?" Who the hell is that? It sounded so familiar, but it wasn't Alan? Someone had my left hand clutched in a tight lock.
"Who are you?" Its Alan!
"Im her ex-husband, who the hell are you suppose to be?" Oh my god, it's Robert!
"Im her- that's not important. You should leave, I'm sure she wouldn't want you here." Alan tried to defend me but Robert was a stubborn man. He wasn't leaving until he got the last word.
"Listen to me mate, I was married to this woman for 10 years! No fancy dressed-snob is going to tell me what to do!" Robert argued. Please don't fight! Roberts thick scottish accent was coming through, soon his anger would completely overtake him and no one would be able to understand him. My vital monitor began to beep faster.
