"Normal"

*Sokka's Pov*

I was sitting down by Appa and was playing with a rock. I know, exciting. Aang and Katara went out to practice water bending and Toph was, where is Toph?

I get up to go look for her. She couldn't of gotten lost. She would just kick a giant rock through the temple and find her way back to our campsite.

As I was walking, I noticed something off. Something honestly doesn't feel right. It feels like....

I stop walking. I don't know if it was instinct or something else, but someone was hiding in the shadows. I could feel it. Whatever it was, it was watching me. Or was it?

I grab my boomerang and aim it at the corner that was giving me the strongest vibe. I give it one good toss and listen for a sound.

"Ow! What the heck?" I hear Toph say.
"Aha! I knew someone was here!" I shout.
"I don't know whether I'm surprised that you found me, or that you were stupid enough to through a boomerang at a mysterious wall." She said.

I shrug and start walking back to Appa. I have a rock waiting for me and I don't want to keep it waiting.

"Sokka?" Toph says.
"What?" I say.
"You forgot something." She says.

I turn around and see her kick a rock up and an object comes flying at me. Next thing I know my boomerang hits me in the face.

"Thanks Toph. I don't know what I would do without you." I say through gritted teeth. I could feel a bump on my head already.

It was night time and we all were around a fire. It was dinner time. Thankfully I was sitting by Appa. I don't really want to be by Aang.

"So Sokka, it looks like you're back to normal." Katara says.
"Yeah, you look better." Aang says.

I can't help but blush. I cover it up by acting like I was choking on some food.

"Yeah well, what can I say. Katara was right." I say.
"Like always." Toph says.

We all laugh. It was true. She is usually right.

We all are going to bed. To be honest, I'm not tired. I am actually wide awake. I was laying by Appa. He fur is really warm and soft. I'm glad today I was "normal". At least everyone is off my back now. Makes life a bit more easier.

Not by much though.
