Bigger than that?

*Sokka's Pov*

I am woken up to Aang shaking me.
"Sokka! Sokka wake up! We're here!"
I groan and stretch my body out. I look over at Aang. I get that feeling again. Only, it's stronger.
" I'll be up in a minute. Just need to stretch." I say. It was half right.
Aang flies off to the others and leaves me alone. I get up and stretch some more. The same thoughts came back to me. The questions that i can't answer. I jump off of Appa and go to meet the others.

When i find them, i see Katara cooking our diner. I take a big sniff into the air.
"Mmmm. Smells great!" I say, drooling at the thought of eating meat! Oh how i love my meat. Just the thought of it makes my stomach growl.
" Wow. I heard that one." Toph says. I laugh.
" It wants meat!" I say.
" Well to bad for your stomach. I made us a vegetarian meal tonight." Katara said. My mouth drops open. No meat? That's a bad thing.
" So... you mean.. I'm not eating tonight?" I say.
" Oh suck it up Sokka. One night without meat isn't gonna kill you." Aang says.
I glare at him.
" Easy for you to say Mr " all life is sacred." Not eating meat doesn't bother you!" I yell.

Aang glared at me and was ready to defend himself when Katara yelled " Dinner is ready!" Toph was rubbing her ears.
"Do you really have to yell so loudly?" She said. I tried to look away from Aang but we were stuck in the middle of a glaring contest.
" Boys. Stop glaring and eat your food." Katara said.

After the horrible dinner, we all got ready for bed. After i thought everyone was asleep, i got up and took a walk around the temple.

I still can't get Aang off my mind. He is the only thing i think about now. Wherever i see him i get this strange feeling and whenever i hear him laugh my heart jumps. I don't understand it.

" Couldn't sleep?" I hear someone say behind me. I jump and turn around.
" Didn't mean to scare you."
" Oh, hey Toph."
" What's wrong meathead?"
" Nothing. I'm fine."
" Your lying. Remember? I can-"
" Yeah yeah i know."
" So what's up?"
" Well, there is this person that i can't get off my mind. It's like they've taken over my mind and" I look at Toph.
" Are you paying attention?"
She looks at me. Well, turned her head in my direction.
" What?"
" Never mind." I say and walk away. Maybe a good night's sleep will help.

I wake up the next morning. I do my normal stretch routine and go and look for something to eat. I feel like I'm forgetting something.
" Morning Sokka!"
Now i remember.
" Hey Aang." I mumble.
He has a confused look on his face.
" Everything okay?"
" I'm perfectly fine." I say and turn away.

For some reason, that feeling is even stronger. I don't even have to look at him to feel it. Maybe.. no, never. That is completely out of the question. I love Suki. She makes me happy. Not the Avatar. I just need to clear my head. Maybe a nice bath will do.

I go and find a nice big fountain to relax in. I'm pretty far from the others so I'm pretty sure i can be completely naked without worry.

I stripped down and got into the water.
"Ah. Nice and warm." I say to myself. A nice bath is perfect for clearing my head.

After my bath i go back to the others. I see the three of them talking to each other.
" Hey guys!" I say to catch their attention. They look at me.
"Sokka, we've noticed that you've been acting... abnormal."
Katara said.
" Abnormal? How?" I say.
" You seem, depressed." Aang said. I didn't want to talk about it so i made up a quick lie.
"I just, really miss Suki." I say.
Toph looks at me. She had the same blank expression on her face, but i knew what she was thinking.

"I have to pee." I said and ran off. That was close. Toph could've told them i was lying. I had to get out of there quick.

I then noticed Appa leave. I couldn't tell who was on it.
"Sokka?"
I turned around and saw Aang. Great.
" Who left on Aapa?" I said.
"Toph and Katara left to go get food. Are you sure your okay? You seem really off." He said.

I looked at him.
"Aang. For the last time, I. Am. OKAY!" I yelled. As soon as i saw his face i instantly regretted it.

Before i could apologize Aang took off on his glider.
" Great. Now my bestfriend is mad at me. Could this day get worse." I said at myself.
