Lucy's PoV
As very close sisters we were aloud to train together. Gloss and Cashmere was offered as well but they declined. Me and Jo secretly said that this would be an opportunity. An opportunity to say that you can throw us all into an arena, kill us all off slowly. But you can never brake a sister's bond.
So we were here in a crammed room sitting on benches whispering quietly among ourselves." I'm going to talk to firegirl" I whispered softly. Johanna nodded and so I went over to Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Malark. "Gloss. District 1" Called Plutarch Hevansbee.
"Hi Katniss" I whispered. She nodded politely back. " You know what you're doing?"
" Just my bow, might add in a new knot that I learnt. You?" She answered." Me and Jo are allowed to do it together. We are going to give them a show they will never forget," I said, a sly smirk appearing on my face.
" I will never know how you won at the age of 12, you're too nice." she said " Beetee is too nice. He killed six tributes in one go." I shrugged.
We sat in quite an awkward silence until we were called:
" Johanna and Lucy Mason, District 7" The voice called out.
" Well good luck," I said" You too." She said. I nodded and walked into the training centre.
Me and Jo nodded at each other and started. Jo got three axes in each hand and I got my knives and spears in my hands and I set up the holograms. We hit all the targets accurately. I had ran out of spears and knives for the last four holograms as we planned. we saw the wall that separated us from the gamemakers. from the corner of my eyes I saw Jo nod at me. we threw the axes with so much power onto the barrier and we knew it bounced off and hit the holograms. we walked out, not being dismissed. once we were out of earshot we burst out laughing. They were not going to forget us soon.
