"I have a plan." Beetee repeated. "Where do the careers feel the safest?"
"The forest?" Said Katniss.
"The forest is a nightmare." I replied
"The beach?" Says Jo.
"Correct, so why aren't they here?" Asks Beetee again. I remember my school days and can't help but feel that he is our teacher and we are the students. Whether it is the age difference or that he is insanely smarter than all of us put together is irrelevant at this current situation. Clearly we have another task to focus on.
"Because we are here, we claimed it." Said Jo with sass, I'm proud of her.
"So if we left they would come?" Says Beetee, asking questions he knows the answers to.
"Probably." I say with a shrug.
"What happens at midnight?" He askes again.
"Lightning strikes that tree." Replies Katniss.
"Here's what I propose, we leave at dusk, we go up to the lightning tree, at around 10 o'clock, we will run the wire from the tree to the beach. At midnight lightning strikes that tree and will travel down the wire, electrocuting anyone in the sea or damp sand."
"How do we know the wires not gonna burn up?" Askes Jo.
"I assure you it won't burn up, I invented it."
"Vain much." I say.
