Lily walked into the intermediate school on her first day of 4th grade. She entered the gym where all the other 4th graders were. She got in the line behind her teacher. Once everyone was accounted for, the teachers led their students to the class rooms. Once everyone was seated at their desks, class began. A coupple hours later, everyone left for lunch. In the cafiteria, Lily saw a girl that looked familer. After she got her lunch and sat down at the table, the girl sat down next to her, noticing that no one was sitting at Lily's table.
"Hi, my name's Hayley. What's yours?" the girl asked.
"I'm Lily." she said quietly.
"Well, hi Lily." Hayley said as she started to eat. "What class are you in?" Hayley asked.
"Mrs. Nowiki. You?" She answered.
"Mr. Gaskil." Hayley replied. "Well, I have to go." Hayley said, throwing away her salid bar tray and leaving the room. Lily followed her out to recess after throwing her tray.
Hayley sat down on the side walk aginst the wall, opening her binder and started to draw. Lily sat down next to her.
Hayley looked at Lily before getting out a picture that looked like it was from a magizine.
"Do you know who this is?" She asked, pointing to the picture. There were 5 boys that looked like they were in their teens
"No." she replied.
"It's One Direction. This is Niall,"She pointed to the boy with blonde hair. "This is harry," She pointed to the boy with curly brown hair. After she named all of the others (Liam, Louis, and Zayn), she put the picture back in her binder and started to draw again. "I love them. They're on The X-Factor. It's a singing show in the UK." said Hayley.
Hayley took out her ipod and gave an earbud to Lily. The first song that was on was Look After You by The Fray.

The next few days were pretty much the same. Hayley and Lily ate lunch together, Sat on the wall together, and Hayley drew most of the time. They would talk a little, but not much.
That's pretty much how the rest of 4th grade went. They were kind of friends... A little.
