Annabeth's POV

I looked at Percy. I had missed him so much. I just wanted kiss him so badly the moment I saw him. We were alone now, in his car, but I was gonna tell him who I really am when we get to his apartment. I missed him so much, it killed me that I couldn't just kiss or hug him the moment I saw him. It was torture throughout the day.

We reached his apartment. He parked the car and I went out.

"Well, here it is. Let's go up," he said.

I frowned at him. The whole day, I was worried. I wondered if he pretended that he was a girl's boyfriend everyday, or let them go to his house all the time. And then there was that Brianna girl. I HATED her. Well, who wouldn't? She was trying to steal my man!

"What's wrong?" Percy asked.

Gods, I wanted to run my hands through his hair and just kiss him. So badly. I shook my head. There was time for that later.

"Nothing," I replied.

"Okay, let's go up then."

We walked in and went up. Percy took put his keys and unlocked the door. Percy's step-dad, Paul, was sitting on the couch, watching football. He looked up and saw me. He knew it was me, unlike Percy, who thought I was "Annalise."

"Hi, Annalise. What are you doing here?" he asked.

Surprisingly, he was a good actor.

"Hello, Mr. Blofis. I'm here to work on a project," I answered.

"Oh, well okay."

Then, Sally came out from the kitchen.

"Annabeth!" she exclaimed.

She knew it was really me. She was pretending that she thought that I was Annabeth, even though I was "Annalise."

"Why did you dye your pretty blonde hair? And straightened it! And why are your eyes brown?" she asked.

"Mom, I thought that she was Annabeth, too, but, no. She's Annalise and she is working on a project with me," Percy said.

"Oh. Well, are you staying for dinner?" Sally asked me.

"Um, yeah. Sure," I answered.

"Okay!"

Then she went back in.

"Well, let's go in my room," Percy said.

"Do you let all girls go in your room?" I asked him nonchalantly.

"No. Only my close friends," he answered.

"You've only known me for a day."

"But you're cool and not drooling over me."

But I was in my mind. I shrugged my shoulders. I went in and faced him.

"So where do we start?" he asked.

"With this," I whispered.

I leaned in and gave him a kiss. I ran my hands through his hair as the smell of the sea engulfed me. Then Percy had to ruin the moment by pushing me away forcefully.

"Annalise!" he exclaimed angrily.

"What?" I shrugged.

"I thought you would be different! I thought you had a boyfriend and wouldn't try to.... URGH!"

"I do have a boyfriend, and his name is Perseus Jackson."

"No, I am NOT! You're just as bad as Brianna!"
