Dear diary...
I hate barney.Yup,I said it!I HATE BARNEY!!!
Why you ask?
It all started when our activities teacher, Mrs Tiffany , came to our class.
"Hey guyss!!"she said excitedly.Ughh I can't stand her fake excitement. We all rolled our eyes at the same time,as if in unison.
"So as you guys know halloween is this weekend and we are organising a party for our primary students."Ooh and did I mention this,she also has an annoying high pitched voice.
"I'll need one of you guys to wear a costume and distrubute candy to the kids.Who would like to volunteer? "
"I do!" I said.The tables have turned and now I was the overly excited one.It has always been my dream to wear a costume.Ahh I'll finally be able to tick this off my bucket list.I just hope no one else volunteers ,so that I'll wear the costume.
To my surprise no one else volunteered.I can't believe no one else wants to do this s.Maybe they are just not confident enough.Wait does that mean I'm confident.Wooop woop ! I started internally dancing .Ahh we have come so far since Adam travelled.
"Ookay so it seems Alexandra is the only one.So Alex we have Spongbob,Dora,and Barney which one would you like to wear?"
I gave myself a minute to think about this carefully ,as if making a life decision .
And finally I made up my mind
"I would like to be Barney."
"Great!Please be at the playground in your lunch break to receive your costume. Thank you so much"
When she left ,my best friend Molly mouthed from across the room "Are you sure about this?"
I gave her the 'dahhh' look.
The whole time I was watching the clock until it was time to make my dream come true!
I ran to the playground and quickly took (it was more like snatching ) the costume from Mrs Tiffany.I don't even know why am I rushing.
I wore the the 'body part' and i was already sweating like a pig!Ohhh my God what is that thing made off.I put on the head piece and I immediately started regretting my decision.I could only see the ground ,as the eye piece was covered in fabric for some reason!
I reluctantly dragged my feet forward before starting to rethink about what I was letting my self into.
After tripping ,falling and,rolling on the ground I finally arrived to the playground in one piece. The moment I stepped my foot on the playground floor , an anonymous kid (obviously because I can't see anything only the shoes) snatched the candy bag out of my hand.Ohhh my what's happening?!
"Attackkkk!!" One kid screamed. I hope he didn't mean me oh God....
The screaming kept on getting louder and louder and suddenly a dozen shoes came to my sight!I wish I never saw them. I felt a punch in my stomach followed by a ten others. Then one heavy kid stepped on my foot ohh myy that hurt soo bad!!And then kicking ,slapping,pinching..Then one kid started unzipping my costume and I was only wearing my tanktop! Ohh noo this is not the way i want to die naked and humiliated.I hate to say this ,but I actually started to fight back.Dont judge me okay it was a life or death situation!
But I must admit it was a very bad idea.
Once the kids saw the slightest action of resistance they all suddenly jumped on me which made me fall on my back. I tried to get back up but I couldn't move a muscle..Where is Mrs confident now!! I was defenseless that I just left the kids to continue torturing me.Then they kept on encircling me and singing in the rythm of the song 'I love you'

But barney's dead!
Ohhh my noo pleasee I don't want to die now..I'm still young !I'm haven't even met beyonce yet !I'm haven't even gotten married !At least I wanted to live to my graduation ..the day when I'll leave this hell hole!
Ohh God I never felt morw grateful for our school bell . I was literally saved by the bell.
"Class time!" Said the supervisor.SERIOUSLY now you show up!!
The supervisor helped me to get up and escorted me to the toilet as I was limping the whole way. I saw that one person that I really didn't wabt to see !Molly! She looked at me with astonishment as I Suddenly she burst out in laughter.I gave her a deadly look at first but then I couldn't help but join her.Thank God no one came in or they would have really thought I am a psycho as I was hysterically laughing while carrying my tail..I mean barney's tail in one hand..and in the other hand the head while my face was covered with bruises and a bleeding nose.
Although I might stay traumatised for the rest of my life ,but atleast I learned something.
Moral of the day:
-Kids are little devils.STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
-Never wear a barney costume again
