Chapter 11: Distant

Mandy Pov

What I saw was the most beautiful and amazing thing that I have ever seen. There was this little path of candles leading to the pond, were me and justin talked for the first time. Justin Took my hand leading me to the path following each little candle "Justin this is amazing" I said holding his hand tighter. Everything was perfect. We finally got to the end of the path. I saw this towel surrounded by flower petals and little candles. And a guitar lying there. I let go of Justin's hand and grabbed the guitar. I strummed a few notes and playing be alright. He sat there next to me waiting for me to sing

"I cross the ocean I cross the sea, starting to forget the way you look the way you look at me now, over the mountains across the sky need to see your face and need to look at your eyes..." I said looking straight into his eyes he smiled making my heart feel all warm and fuzzy. "Through the storm, through the clouds bumps in the road, upside down I know it's hard to sleep at night, don't you worry, cause everything gonna be alright..."

I strummed a few more notes till I finally stopped. He frowned confused of why I had stop. "why you stop" he asked. I didn't answer, I really didn't know why? But the things that I am feeling towards Justin cannot happen. I don't want any of fame and all the attention, I just want to be a normal and be sort of invisible like I am right now. Plus Justin is dating Selena and I wouldn't want anyone to that to me. "No reason" I said looking out at the pond "this was really nice for you to do" I said looking into his brown hazel eyes, he smiled and grabbed the guitar and started strumming. He played nothing but only made little melodies with his fingers.

GOD WHY DID YOI HAVE TO PUT ME IN THIS POSITION??

I said looking up at the sky, after a few minutes of staying there and looking at each other I finally spoke "Justin can we get back" I said not facing him anymore "Sure" he said getting up I slowly get up and clean up my shorts that I was still wearing and started to turn off all the candle lights so nothing will burn and we get blamed for it. Justin started on the other side turning each light off. There must have been about 60 little things spread around. I feel my phone vibrate

I smile at his text and quickly send him and small reply

Me: sweet dreams

Justin POV

I saw her looking down at her phone smiling. Why was she being all distant with me? Aren't we friends? I quickly looked over and shoulder and saw she was texting that Max guy. I felt a rush of jealousy hit me like brick, thinking that he was able to make her smile by one simple text. "Mads we should get back" I said next to her ear. She jumped and looked at me with shocked eyes "You scared me" she said placing her hand over her heart trying to calm it down "Am I that ugly" I said faking that I was offended "Justin you know that's not what I meant and we both know that people don't think you are ugly" she said poking my stomach I laughed cause I was a bit ticklish. "okay let's go" I said heading towards the car and started driving home.
