Zane 's P.O.V
"And you couldn't tell me that she had a boyfriend. Let me rephrase that, she has a boyfriend." I scoffed at Rebecca.
We were currently lining up for our chemistry class when Mr. oh so perfect Scott decided to do something so unexpected that caught my attention. Let me just go back a few minutes to what had happened.
Brooklyn and I were walking down with the rest of the football team. As always we were bantering about and having our little boyish talk. Some had chemistry and some had biology. Chase, Rider, Jay, Shane, Brooklyn and me were in chemistry; the other boys like Josh, Liam, Dominic, Scott and Flint had biology. We were all included in our football team.
"Today's practice was rockin' man." Rider commented. We were all in a group whilst the other pupil made their way to the corridor we were at. "Na, man like Liam totally needs to go to a team." Shane said.
"More like Liam and Scott. Yo man, you two were great out there today. Can't wait for the tournament in a few weeks of time." Rider chirped excitedly.
"You mean, can't wait to see those cheerleaders and girls on the pitch and in the audience." Liam chuckled, cocking his eyebrow upwards putting his point forward for the boys to understand."NO, no. I'm taken. Don't want my girl to beat my ass up." Shane said stepping out of the circle, looking around for any other droppers. "True. Not happening mate, sorry Liam." Scott patted him on his shoulder.
"Now Scott, last time we checked you were single and ready to mingle. What happened to that Scott eh?" Liam questioned with a hint of smirk on his lips.
"Scott, who's your gal eh?" I asked, grinning whereas Brooklyn shook his head at me, indicating how stupid I sounded saying 'gal'.
"Surprised, you don't know Griffin." He chuckled in response. Was I even suppose to know before the others as it seems like we weren't close mates? Meh, no.
Right at that moment, I heard Rebecca, Juliet, Caspar, Tara and Perla talking to each other and giggling over each thing. Except from Juliet who just stood there, smiling at them. Juliet is just so eye catching for me that even though I'm with the people I've known for so long, it feels like as if I've known her for longer. Though in my case it's not true: I would love to know this girl. I would love to actually think about having a minor crush on her. Or I would love to imagine to be with her in the future. What? A man can surely dream.
"Y'kiddin' us!" Rider gasped. I took my eyes off Juliet forcefully to see what was happening. My eyes followed Rider's open mouth to all the boys who were glancing at Scott's way. Scott slowly removed himself from the circle and made his way to the girls circle where all of them stood. Yeah, he surely was going to Perla. As far as I remember, Perla always liked him so he probably decided to finally ask her.
My false thought had been proved wrong when Scott stood closely behind Juliet, glancing down at her from the back. All the boys and girls around us had fell into a silent moment that was building up its own tension.
He engulfed Juliet from behind her as she let out a small squeak. Storm turned her around as he smiled widely at her with his sparkly eyes however, Juliet seemed normal. She didn't seem to have an effect by his charming self. "Hello there." He said before he wrapped her in his arms for a tight hug. When he said that he was surprised, I didn't know, he definitely meant that.
