I woke up in a dark room with the moonlight shining outside my window. I almost though I was dreaming until remembering what happen last time... I was kidnapped. Still I was my birthday dress and questioned why I was here. I climbed out of the bed and made a beeline to the door. Why wouldn't the door opened. "Am I a prisoner?" I said loud to claim my nerves.

"Damn it!" I said to myself hearing the words echo within the room. Looking around the room, I was hoping I could find something useful. I moved to the dresser first. I noticed a silver key reflecting in the moonlight on the dresser. I picked it up and went over to the door and place the key in the lock and turned. Luck was on my side as I opened the door wide and ran for my life out of the darken room.

I felt like I was at the Knothole Castle yet all these stone walls were cover in a slime like mold. It gave me a feeling no one has clean this place for years. "How long did I sleep?" I asked myself. Hopefully I find my way out of here soon.

I been running down these stairs, it felt like they went on forever. By the time I made it to the bottom I started move down a darken hallway. I heard someone yelling out my name, I paused to see which direction it came from. It came from the other end of the hallway. "Amy!" the voice repeated. It sounded like Sonic but then a flash of images burst into my mind, leaving me disoriented. It might be that other Sonic. I hid myself from the other Sonic in the shadows of the hallway.

The voice repeated saying "Amy" as it started to move closer to me. "Amy....." Now adding to his sentence, "If you wanted to play hide and seek, all you had to do is ask. It used to be our favorite game." The voice sounded innocent and creeper at the same time. I felt like he knew where I was. Something told me this creature knew where I was, but was taking his sweet time to find me. As the stress of being found got the best of me, I took off down the hallway then turned left into another corridor, I didn't hear this Sonic following me now, Thank God!

As I was running I could feel my breath getting shorter and the tightness of the dress was now constricting my breath, I found a lit area at the end of the corridor and ran to it. I didn't think the creature was following me. I just had to get away from it. The light was refreshing to my eyes which had grown accustom to the dark. As I entered the room, the light revealed to me that this room has a balcony which was overlooking the Royal Garden. I took a few steps on to the balcony, letting the harvest moon touched my skin, I knew I was in Knothole castle this whole time and I was on the third floor. I let out a breath, knowing, there was no way of getting out of here...

I waited for the creature' voice to taunt me about playing hide and seek, when I hear a loud crash came from across the hall. From the balcony I saw two door with the royal acorn crest on them but now scratched out by some unknown sharp object. Soon another loud bang came from that room as if things were being thrown against the hard wooden doors. My curiosity started to get the best of me as I walked to the doors and placed my ear upon one of the doors. I hear a whisper. I didn't understand it quite well. So I opened the heavy wooden doors to reveal a female form in the far corner of the room hidden by the shadows of moonlight. A female arose and asked me, "Why did you do it?"

I stop at the doorway, since I believed she could see me now. Soon I could hear her steps moving closer to me and I could see the female form was moving as if in hunter's motion then started to speak with a voice that hadn't spoken in years, "I still blame myself day after day yet, you still don't answer me. WHY?"

As I took a step out of the room, I was surprised to realize this was the ballroom, I was back home! But the world was colder and very dark..... Different from the place I knew. There was stain glass windows on top of the stairwell which has pictures of my friends with the creature that brought me here. The pink hedgehog girl in the stain glass looked like an older version of me being held prisoner inside the silver ring. I looked helpless in the picture. What's going on here?
