Last night was replaying in my head as I played around with the flash drive in my hands not knowing when or how Sonic found it. But he had it and left it for me on the nightstand, yet it doesn't feel right... Why didn't he give it to Sally? I thought to myself as I was leaving the hospital just moments ago in a taxi.

All those questions where going rounding in my head that I started to get a headache. Leaving the hospital I felt 100% better, but now I feel like I need to go back and stay another night. Maybe I should have called one of my friends to pick me up but didn't since I don't want to bugged them, so I took a taxi the way home. As the taxi pulled up to my house, the old brown bear driver turned to look back at me in the rearview mirror as he said, "We are here now." I nod and paid him 20 dollars. "Thanks," I said as he replied saying, "Your welcome. Do you need any help miss?"

"No thanks," I said as I got out of the car with my bag of stuff I got from the hospital. I wave to the taxi driver as he pulled out. I headed to the front door of the freedom fighters base since my room is under the same roof with other freedom fighters now. I was happy to be home.

As I was about to grab the golden door knob, I realized it was already opened. That's weird, no one ever leaves the door opened before. My heart stopped. Could it be that monster from that night finally found my house and now waiting for me? Oh please no. The door opened wide as I hesitantly made it inside, then shut the door behind me with a soft slam and walked to the living room, nothing looks out of place inside so far.

I was about to give up until I hear some noise coming from my room. I crept to my bedroom's door and can tell that someone was in it by the rustling of movement. Please don't tell me that the creature isn't in here, I said to myself as I build up the courage to opening it. As I opened the door, confetti spilled right on top of me as I heard three girls busting up laughing and saying out loud, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!" I looked up to see Rouge wearing a long light blue sparkly dress with Masquerade Mask that matched her outfit. Cream was wearing the cutest red dress with matching red ear ribbons, well Blaze was wearing a short pink dress with a pink mask with black trim. They were all smiling at me that I couldn't help but laugh with them.

"Amy, welcome back home! We missed you!" Cream said as she ran up to me and wrapped her arms around my legs. I couldn't help but cry tears of joy knowing that they went out of their way to do this for me. "Thank you so much girls, I don't know what I'll do without you," I said as Rouge came up to my right side and hugged me.

"Save your 'thank you' for tonight. We still have to get you ready for the party." Rouge said as she and cream let go of me and pulled me to the closet.

"What do you mean Rouge?" I asked wondering what she was talking about. Blaze held the closet door handle, then she replied saying, "Don't tell us you forgot what we have been planning on doing for the past months for your birthday party." Soon she opened the closet door which was revealed Rouge's wedding dress but now with matching Masquerade Mask with jade ribbon round the mask. I couldn't help but touch the white dress.

"May I ask what's up with the mask?" I looked at Blaze as she smiled replying, "Last night as everyone was going to bed, Sonic decided it would be a great way of having your birthday be a Masquerade Ball tonight." I was in shock he would say like that.

"Really?" Feeling unsure about this idea. "Right you for sure?"

"Sally was ok with it and she said, 'It's Sonic's idea of throwing this party again but this time as Masquerade Ball," Rouge said as she showed me the mask. I don't know why he would want it that way but I love the idea of have a Masquerade Ball. As I thought this, Cream brought a small size mirror and held it in front of me. I liked how the jade ribbon brings out the green of my eyes. I smiled girlishly at myself looking into the mirror Cream held.
