Chapter 40- "You're inconceivable" I said. "As you wish" he replied.
I ran a hand threw my hair as I waited.
The doctor came in.
She smiled "Hi Tatum".
She handed me 2 bottles of medicine "I figure'd you're older enough to take care of yourself. So take this medicine once in the morning and once at night, then you an take any pain relief medicine."
I nodded.
"Ready"? My mom asked.
The doctor said "Alright will see you in a week, and check up. Remember no school and no moving around because of you head. Just rest".
"Alright" I said and followed my mom out to the elevator.
She asked "How are you feeling"?
"I've been better, but I've been worse" I said.
She said "Well we are taking you out of that school".
"But-" I started.
"No Tatum, this cannot happen. Will talk about this tomorrow" She said and we walked into the waiting room.
Beth ran up and hugged me.
"O my God! You scared the daylights out of me"! She said breathlessly.
I hugged her and pulled away.
Luke and Jake hugged me.
My mom said "Alright, let's go. I'll order some pizza's when we get home and you can all eat".
We walked out and I climbed into Mark's truck.
Jake was in the backseat on the left, Luke was on the right, and Beth was in the middle.
Mark got in the driver's seat, River got in the passenger seat, and I sat in the middle seat between River and Mark.
Mark drove down the highway.
I pulled out my phone.
I looked at the time and saw it was already 9 P.M.
My phone was grabbed out of my hand.
River studied the wallpaper and a smirk stretched across his face.
The wallpaper was still of us slow dancing.
I said nonchalantly "Beth did it".
"Ya but you never changed it" He pointed out.
"Because I'm to lazy" I lied.
Truth is I just didn't want to change it.
"Can I have my phone back now"? I asked.
He handed me my phone back.
I put my phone in my back pocket and closed my eyes and held my head.
"You okay, sis"? Mark asked.
"Yeah I'm fine" I muttered.
Besides the fact that my head feels like its going to fall off!!
River pulled me closer to him and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Hey" A voice said softly "Green eyes".
I opened my eyes and River was there.
I sat up straight and rubbed my eyes, and realized everyone walked inside the house.
"Come here" He said and picked me up.
